Friendly and well priced with indoor outdoor sitting in a cool roomy space. Clean and tidy. Had a fabulous time. We stayed for 3 hours.

Service is 0! I got to the cafe and walked up to counter to place my coffee order. The lady told me that I can sit down first and they’d come to me to take my order. I sat down for 20 mins (no jokes) and no one came, despite they brought food to a table nearby me multiple times. No one bothered to come. The cafes wasn’t busy at the time with three staff on the floor. I walked up to the counter and queued behind the line to place my coffee order. The lady served the gentleman in front of me and walked away to sip her water nearby the kitchen and just stayed there to chat to her colleagues…. I again, had to “chased” her to the kitchen to place my order. 20 mins of wait time and chasing, for an expensive $9 ice Americano. I politely expressed my disappointment after placing my order, the lady actually rolled her eyes (at her colleague who previously advised me to sit down at the table first). There’s absolutely no service at all. There were only 2 occupied tables in the cafe with 3 people on the floor. Yet, the tables were only being cleared after 30 mins. The workers also openly talked about their customers onsite in their own language. Very unprofessional and rude. Wouldn’t recommend or go back at all.

Best coffee, we had to order twice. And the food!!! Well presented and delicious. I had the omelette, highly recommend.

What was once a bustling, vibrant cafe is now empty and unfriendly under new ownership. When you enter you’re greeted by a jarring “wait to be seated sign” which should be replaced with a “children not welcome” sign. The manager/owner has zero customer service and was somehow triggered by two toddlers squeals of joy. Avoid this cafe at all costs if you have lively young children, your money is better spent at another cafe where you and your children are treated with basic respect and dignity. We were chased out mid coffee, but I can see it was very mediocre. Would give it no stars if I could.

Avoid going here with kids unless you want your kids and yourself to get yelled and abused by the staff. Based on other reviews here, we are not the only parents this has happened to. We went to the cafe with two toddlers on a Saturday morning. The place was not busy, apart from us there was one or two other customers at the most. Moments after we got our coffees one of the staff (might be the owner) came and told us if we can get the kids to be quiet. The kids had just been excited to see a couple of firetruck passing by and they definitely weren’t screaming and turning the place upside down. We were trying to keep the kids to be not too loud (they are 2 year olds and they definitely weren’t constantly screaming and being disruptive to others) but soon he came and yelled at the toddlers to be quiet, when we said please not to talk to our kids like that, he asked us to leave the cafe before we even got a chance to finish our coffee or food. That was very rude and unprofessional behaviour and looks like he has been abusive to several other customers based on the reviews here. We take our kids out to cafe’s and restaurants regularly and have never faced something like this. If he has a problem with kids, maybe they should put up a sign “no kids allowed” so no other parents have to face this kind of abuse.

Wonderful cafe. Beautiful food and coffee. Kai and Sharon always give a warm welcome and friendly professional service. Lovely venue, good for meetings or just to have a quiet place to work. And Martha's playlist would give it an extra star if we could.

To be fair, the kitchen food are good here, but not the service. We visited here for lunch on Sat and it wasn't busy. Many tables were available but they cannot arrange a table for 9 people. No friendly service here if you want to grab and go. This cafe was good before but not anymore. We can pay the same amount of money to buy better service, food and atmosphere in New Lynn or Mt Albert area.

The atmosphere is really cosy and nice. The staff is super friendly. They brought the food faster than I thought and taste really good but it need more seasoning and quantity of sauce ( for example; cauliflower puree on the drunk mushrooms was so little that it's imposible to taste as the same as the dukkah season was invisible) after that I will be back for a beautiful hot chocolate and eggs Benedict :).

Food was excellent!! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Great to finally go to a Cafe with a decent size table, so many cafes have tables that can barely hold your coffee cup. Will be back to try the omelet next time.
