   not usually the one to complain about food- but this place was absolutely atrocious. don't even bother, everything is poorly put together, and when you order later in the day, everything seems to taste almost off, or its been sitting out all day and you'll get the scraps. smoothies also taste like the fruit is rotten. definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

   The so called owner was so rude. He doesn't care about the walk in customers. He said he was making pita's for genuine regular customers. Are walk in customers doesn't matter? He said to order over online or Kiosk! Is this the customer service we get in NZ? When asked for stuffing he said he doesn't have a time and when I was upset he said he didn't have any in-stock. This was the worst experience i've ever had in hospitality sector.

   First time ordering from here, and sad to say, the salads were wilted and looked dead. Had to ask for some fresh ones which in my opinion customers shouldn't have to. I know it was closer to closing time, but that's no excuse to serve dying looking greens to anybody. I might check them out again during the day and see if there's any difference. Sorry guys, you gotta do better to get more stars next time.

   Was yum I'd definitely come back I have noticed with pita pit although I've only been to two stores they do put a lot of lettuce in the wraps so much I always pick some out. Still delish though.

   I used to frequent this pita pit back when I lived in New Zealand. It was one of my favourite places to get lunch or dinner as it was just down the road, and I have very fond memories of the staff and the food. I am currently visiting New Zealand again and have noticed that things have changed a lot. The food doesn't look or taste as fresh anymore (the feta tasted really old, an off after-taste to the pita in general). I've also noticed that the vegetarian side of the grill is no longer a thing - as someone who has many vegetarian and vegan friends, this isn't just a moral issue, but also a religious and health issue in some cases. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management or something recently, but the 4.5 star rating no longer stands. The staff are still wonderful, but the hygiene and general care seems to be lacking in many areas. I might go to Kelston next time I'm back in New Zealand.

   I love Pita pit. But for some reason this branch isn’t great. I work right near this branch but now pop down to Rosebank rd or Kelston branches at lunch. I seems to taste better/fresher there. This branch isn’t bad. Its Just not as good.
