   Proper Pizza serves the best pizza in town. Every bite is fresh, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The crust is light, thin and crisp, toppings are generous. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is warm, and the menu offers great options for everyone, including vegetarians. Prices are fair for the quality. A must-visit for any pizza lover. You must share a 60cm pizza with your family and friends.

   Had the best experience at Proper Pizza, all thanks to Nithya! Her service was honestly next-level, so kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. She made everything feel so easy and welcoming. And the pizza… wow. Tasted like proper firecooked perfection. Crispy, smoky, and insanely tasty. The vibes in the place are super cozy too, making it the perfect spot to chill and enjoy good food especially with mates. Nithya really made the visit unforgettable with her energy and attention to detail. Can’t recommend Proper Pizza enough, and if you go, definitely ask for Nithya, she is amazing!

   My first pizza in New Zealand, and it did not disappoint me at all. I did enjoy my gluten free and dairy free pizza here, also it gave me a homemade vibe which could be from the facts that they are not chain restaurants (are they? Lol). The staffs were very friendly and helpful to accommodate me with my diet restrictions, I did truly appreciate that. The pizza was fun, I had such great afternoon with my pizza here

   There were several aspects of this pizza restaurant that left me feeling disappointed and considering it super overrated. Let's begin with the positive aspects. The space had a decent modern decoration, and the staff were friendly. However, even with friendly staff, one of them appeared sick and was coughing, which made me uncomfortable while placing my order. I ordered two pizzas: the Garlic Chicken pizza and the Black Truffle pizza. The first issue I noticed was with the pizza size. The size advertised on the wall was larger than what was actually served. It felt more like a kids' size pizza for the full price. Moving on to the taste, the Garlic Chicken pizza was a letdown. It had a rancid flavor, possibly due to the added sesame, which didn't taste fresh. Additionally, the garlic taste was overpowering, and the chicken had a leftover taste. On the other hand, the Black Mushroom pizza was relatively better and could be considered above average. Overall, the pizzas were overpriced considering their quality. I've had $1 New York-style pizza that was much better than what was served here. It felt unjustified to charge an extra $10 for a pizza simply because they added some nuts to it. Furthermore, the advertised prices on Google were per slice, not per pizza, which added to the confusion. I have attached a picture of the latest prices for reference. The overall experience left me feeling the prices were too high for the quality and the taste offered.

   Nice location, but I was expecting a bit more for the reviews. For 55 dollars i paid for the second largest and it really wasn't enough for 3 people. Thr crust is really thin, and although tasty when it's hot, by the time you get to the second piece it becomes chewy and hard to eat. 4 dollar extra to do half and half. Friendly staff. Bathroom down the hallway.

   This is a very unique pizza place. Usually I separate pizza into two kids: the authentic Italian and the more commercial versions with western toppings. The Proper Pizza Company manages to thread the line between the two, making some really fancy pizzas, but they also feel like they're quite innovative in their toppings. I particularly enjoyed the sesame in the crust. The shop is quite nice with a very relaxing vibe and the two workers who were there when I went were really friendly (the man even got us two fresh glasses of water when ours ran out - not something you'd expect at a pizza place). The food came out really quickly as well. I'll definitely be back to try a few of their other pizzas!
