   Second Christmas Eve in a row that we've gone here for our traditional takeaways dinner. Super easy to order hour ahead online, set the pick up time. Then, stop in, no rush, order is ready, no fuss. And the food is excellent. They've got a good reputation for a reason, they're awesome at what they do.

   Wanted to give it a try so bought for take away but was disappointed. The battered fish was ok-ish but we had to throw away the roasted pork as it had a bad smell.

   Wouldn’t ever go here!!!!!!! We went in and asked for $10 chips with hot dog for all of our 3 kids to open them when we got home and find this! What a complete disappointment and not even enough to feed all of them!

   First ever visit to this takeaways and will not be returning at all. Wontons were dry and cold. Cheeseburgers = 1. Cheese was so melted and hard it we couldn't eat. 2. The bun was falling apart. Ordered 3 potato fritters and got 2.

   I have a friend visiting from the U.S and wanted to introduce him to a kiwi cuisine so a roast was the perfect choice, but not the establishment. Hobsonville roast was a huge disappointment, their good days are definitely over. They used to be great and their food was nice and not stingy. For 20 dollars the pork was ok but the green peas were barely cooked, there was no pumpkin at all , instead, a small piece of almost uncooked carrot was thrown in, not two of the nice fried potatoes but one only and a piece of kumra. My lamb roast was even worse with very dry lamb and the same uncooked and stingy selection of vegetables. If you charge 20 dollars for medium roast , make sure you don’t cut corners and replace a traditional pumpkin with unappealing carrot and replace TWO pieces of the nice potatoes with only one. People expect quality for their money, and please don’t give me the covid excuses. You increased your prices and decreased your quality, a great combination for a bad business and loss of punters.
