   Possible to get around with a stroller but can be tight. Particularly if other people are in the isle. I found sometimes you had to go all the way to the back of the store to 'collect' your prescription. Go to the front with a receipt to pay then back to the back of the store with your paid receipt to actually be given your medications. To then again travel through the store to exit. Would be ideal to just pay the pharmacist at the back of the store.

   I am not the one to leave negative reviews but on this occasion I feel it is necessary. I went to pick up boxes of Nutrini for my son with Stage V Cancer. The Pharmacist Assistant refused to help with the boxes and said the trolleys are being used and the product with stock on them cannot be put on the floor, despite their being product on the floor and not on trolleys. With everything going on and with an unwell child, some help and going above and beyond with customer service would have gone some way to being useful.

   Very disappointed with management. I bought a product, 3 days ago, Nude by Nature volumising mascara, that wasnt Volumising at all and also flaked leaving smudges around my eyes. Took back looking to replace with another product but was told to use a powder around my eyes and they would not let me return it. Product doesnt do what it says so should have been able to return it.

   Had an unpleasant experience at the Silverdale store today with Jinshi (Lucy) at Till 05. I accidentally picked up Otrivin Adult instead of Otrivin Plus — the box was placed above the Otrivin Plus price tag, and from memory there was no Otrivin Adult there, only Plus. I was unwell with a headache and blocked nose at the time. When I got home, my wife noticed it was the wrong one — I usually use Otrivin Plus. I drove back from Ōrewa to exchange it. While the exchange eventually went through (I just paid the price difference), the process felt unnecessarily tense. While I understand restrictions on pharmacy medicines, this could’ve been handled with more empathy — especially since the shelf placement was misleading and the product wasn’t fit for purpose under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Not to mention I paid with American Express, and honestly, it would’ve been easier to just file a chargeback than drive back to the store from Ōrewa. The staff’s final comment, “please think carefully next time,” felt unnecessarily intimidating. A bit more understanding would’ve gone a long way.

   Terrible customer service…. Wouldn’t refund a faulty item because it was a couple of days past the 7 days. Explained why I couldn’t come in sooner. The manager didn’t care. I was going to buy further items, with the refund. Will never shop there again. I always try to support the local small guys rather than the big chains. Lesson learnt, as even though it was past 7 days, if something doesn’t work, something doesn’t work!!! I walked out and put it straight in the bin outside. Support the small guys people!!

   Reasonably well stocked, manage to find some good products every time with good savings. Aisles are a little small and don't have a clear sense of direction, making it hard to get past anybody else in the aisle you want to be in. The staff are generally pretty friendly, a lot of young people on weekend days and could use some training in customer service ("Have a good day" etc), but that's all part of learning and being in retail. Would love if you could get click and collects for items that aren't in stock in your preferred store (eg. click and collect to get it shipped between stores).
