“Couldn't breathe, went to Waitakere Hospital Emergency. Explained my situation, immediately sent to the emergency room, blood samples taken, and all wires put my body to monitoring my condition. Yes, New Zealand has a shortage of doctors problem, but all staff from reception to nurses, caregivers and doctors are professional and friendly and tend to help. After 8 hours in the emergency room, doctor diagnosed based on all test results, transferred to ADU, then hospital room. Had right treatment, and could go home after 36 hours in the hospital. Thank you for everyone work in Waitakere Hospital Emergency.”

I know that’s your job, but he is our life, and we can’t thank you enough ❤️ once in recovery, Erica, a nurse in the Rangitira ward was so accommodating and caring and natural, that it made our stressful time there easy. Today, I really needed to see a Doctor. I called 3 Different Doctors, DR Chand was able to see me the same day. Yes it was a bit of a wait, however I didn't have to wait weeks and weeks to get better. Dr was very understanding, provided professional advice and I received the care I needed. Again, some people need a bit of empathy for the Doctors when medical is a very long wait these days.”

It takes a little time to build that connection, but once you do, there’s friendly banter and lighthearted jokes that make visits more enjoyable. The real gem of this clinic though is Dr. Yulia. She gives her absolute 100% every time, going above and beyond as a GP. She listens, she cares, and she makes you feel truly seen and heard. This kind of GP doesn’t come around often, so she’s someone worth appreciating!”

“Dr Esther Loh did a fantastic job of looking after my rather nervous and sick 3 year old at the viral clinic. I definitely recommend her. My child is recovering well post her care. I also highly recommended Dr Longworth for children. We have seen him at his previous clinic and followed to Silverdale Medical due to outstanding care. The receptionists were friendly and booking an appointment was far more pleasant than other clinics. The nurse who called to triage my daughter and decide how urgent she was and how soon a booking was to be made, was also wonderful. Overall a very great experience.”
