“You know how your hot water cylinder always stops working after business hours? Well, ours did the 7pm dying act yesterday. I did some research, and immediately called Ocean Plumbing, who were absolutely fantastic. They were so kind and caring, and rearranged some scheduling to fit us in, so that in 12 hours we were headed back to enjoying hot showers again. We got to work with Graeme, who helped us move our insanely heavy (stacked) dryer and washer, and did a wonderful and careful job of replacing the cylinder with a Rheem that will actually do the water heating job it was hired to do. You could not ask for a better professional (who happens to have a great sense of humour). To be honest, Graeme's installation looks significantly better than the original. Ocean Plumbing is officially our plumber, and in our contacts. Thank you!!”

“I needed a sill repaired on an older model car to meet the WOF. Not looking to spend a great deal I chose Evoke Bodyworks as it was open Sat am and recommended by both MoneyHub.co.nz and TopReviews.co.nz. Aaron inspected the vehicle on the spot, explained the repair required and showed me the cost breakdown on his computer. I said I hope it’s the same price whether you’re a bloke or a not-so-careful lady driver. He said it was, and I agree it was a good price. The work was top notch, but it was the after sale service which was above and beyond. Part way through the job Aaron told me there was further damage down the sill, but after I asked if it would pass the WOF regardless he offered to do it without charge as the removal, refit and paint was already covered. Not only that, a few weeks later some lowlife keyed my car. I phoned for the paint code, and Aaron suggested I just pop by and collect the rest of the paint as it was ‘going in the bin anyway’. Will I go back? I’ll never go anywhere else. I usually can’t be bothered doing reviews, but I would recommend Evoke Bodyworks to friends, family and colleagues in a heartbeat. “Probably the first positive experience I’ve ever had at a mechanics. Failed my WOF at VTNZ due to brake imbalance. Took it in to the guys at Mairangi and after a while I get a call to say they checked it over and there is nothing wrong with my brakes at all and they even took it down to the road to a brake place to confirm.
