   I highly recommend Advanced Computers. My very old iMac died suddenly and they were able to recover all my data for me. Everyone I dealt with was courteous, responsive and so helpful. Win in particular was so patient in all my dealings with him as he guided me through the tech process. These guys are experts when you need them, I cannot recommend them more highly.    Staff polite (and efficient). Advised me that they would assess problem within two days (achieved) then let me know what the solution would be and the cost. They did exactly that and when I paid (the battery needed replacing) they indicated two weeks because the part had to be imported. Took 6 days and I am very happy with the outcome.

   Took MacBook for repair and they wanted to charge $100 just to quote a price for the job (it wasn’t a diagnostic problem- just needed to have the screws on the case replaced and installation of the supplied speakers). Told me it would take 48 hours for them to just have a look.. By the most cold-faced unwelcoming receptionist who didn’t seem to appreciate any business. Took it to 73INC instead and had an instant and upfront quote for the job within a couple of minutes and without a $100 fee, and the repair was completed to a professional standard within an hour.

   My experience has been excellent. I started off by taking my laptop back to where I bought it for the repair, and after 53 minutes I realized how useless they were. I brought my computer home and decided to ring around and ask questions of other computer repairers. That is where your office administrator Melissa Murray comes into it. She answered the phone very quickly, she answered my questions as to cost to look at the problem, cost per hour for repairs, and how long it would take without hesitation. The others I rang, either had answer phones on and would ring me back if I left my name and number, or otherwise it was dial 1 for ? or 2 for ? etc. Others were less expensive for the initial cost to look at it, however were harder to get other information from. I very much appreciated Melissa's up front, forthright manner. She was excellent all the way through. When I took it in her professionalism, and again honesty of the procedure and when I would get the quote, and if I went ahead the time it would take to repair. In my opinion you are very fortunate to have such am excellent employee fronting your business. I suggest you CLONE Melissa. Kind regards, Liz

   Advanced Computers was the only company I could find that would examine my video camera, which the manufacturers regard as obsolete! Melissa Murray was very helpful - replied very quickly to my enquiries and produced a packaging solution for the return of my equipment that reduced the courier cost. Advanced was not able to repair the camera immediately, but were able to source replacement components. I was kept informed of progress from time to time. The repair labour cost was reasonable. The camera now appears to be fully functional - the camera is a complex semi-professional unit and it will take some time to work through all of the functions, but I am satisfied with the repairs.
