   Sadly I used these guys for years and unfort I’ve realized they aren’t trustworthy at all, having had 2 different dealerships tell me the jobs they were quoting were way over priced and some work not even necessary over the last 6 months I recently had an experience that took a different dealership 45 minutes to do, where WOF while u shop quoted it to take 2hrs! This dealership ordered the part the same day and were able to fix it the day after even on a busy Saturday. Wof while u shop had no urgency to help me out and wouldn’t order the part till the following week… Meaning it would take six days to complete this job (which was an emergency safety job on the car) WOF While u shop also couldn’t even order the correct part which then would have delayed getting my car fixed by another week if I’ve gone ahead with them. In addition when speaking to two of the garages, turns out WOF while u shop marked up the cost of the part by 100%!!! and on top of that added labour for 2hrs rather than 45mins.. which in the end almost doubled the price of what I got elsewhere. Wild! A second job that I asked WOF While u shop to do was actually a short minute job yet they quoted 90mins to do the same job Doubling up on those lab our costs again After the first one I gave the company the benefit of the doubt, however, the second time I had an issue with my vehicle, realized that these guys are actually greedy and in it by massively marking up on parts (if they can get away with it) and lying about how jobs take Dodgy. If it’s dodgy here, then who knows the quality of fitting the parts which you don’t see. As a female driver you want to trust the work that gets done and the peoole that do it. Simple. Unless you’re mechanic or good with cars, there’s no other way that you would know this. you just have to trust their word or call around and shop around which I would highly suggest you do if you choose to bring your car to this company! Better still go elsewhere!! All you have to do is look at the other reviews peoole have left. Highly recommend automotive anarchy Lincoln rd. As a legit honest company also out west!

   This business is getting absurd a little bit more everytime i visit them, a customer for almost 6 years now tells them this will be the last time i’ll be visiting them and the response is not why so? The response is SURE, with no concern. And this wasnt a trick to make it cheaper if that was the case i think 9 out of 10 garage are cheaper than them in new lynn. Its more because the price quoted is almost $100 less than the payable price. And its only getting expensive everytime i come here. And the guy goes this is the first time we’ve serviced the car. The service is great but times are tough and i feel like they take a lifeless car as a customer rather than a person that brings it to support them for years. And i’d rather take it to somewhere that’d appreciate that.

   I have been a customer of W.O.F Newlynn since 2008 and have consistently appreciated the level of service provided. However, I feel it is important to bring an issue to your attention regarding my most recent experience. My vehicle was left overnight for a complete service, along with additional requested work, resulting in a cost of nearly $900, which I found acceptable. Upon picking up my car, I noticed several concerning issues, including noticeable marks on the front bonnet and under the bumper, as well as a number of dents on the left both side doors of the vehicle. I expressed my concerns at the time, but I felt that my feedback was not adequately acknowledged. I share this feedback in the hope of encouraging greater care for customers' vehicles during service.

   I booked in a basic service for $190 over the phone, even on dropping my car. I agreed to the same. But when I went to pick up my car. They gave me a bill of $250. They did an intermediate service, apparently. On being asked why the extra cost, the person at the reception threatens to hold my keys back until paid in full. It was my first experience and was kind of dreadful.

   My car was losing water, although not overheating. I booked it in for checkup. On the day i dropped it off and jumped on the train into town. Before the train got to town my phone rang with the results. I needed a new radiator. I agreed to all their recommendations and collected it the following day when time permitted. The team here are awesome. Super friendly, reliable, honest, and fast. Highly reccommend them

   This shop supposed to close 5pm. I got there 04:25 and there was only one guy working(MECHANIC) .The others(wof and office) left earlier. They must review their time. I waste my time, my gas, my money coming here.

   The location of this service is fantastic, and customer service is pleasant and efficient however its extremely expensive and I no longer go because of the price. I used to get a full service and WOF yearly. If work is required on your car they have service cars to use while work is being done.

   Booked in before hand and it was very easy to drop off the car to get a warrant and WOF sorted. It took about 2 hours to get it done and it was as easy during the pick up. They also gave a list of potential replacements for next time.
