   Love Satya. You get food from India. Authentic. Real. The place and group of 3 just doesn't change. It makes India cuisine. Each dish unique. Do try! Its very family too which is lovely. Home cooked India cuisine. My favorite. India hot lamb vindaloo. Yay!

   Not great tbh. Ordered a lamb biriyani and the lamb was on the bone, mostly bone. Butter chicken tasted quite nice however there was hardly any chicken in it. The plain nan we ordered turned out to be a very small oily roti. Shame as this place was great a few years

   Ordered a takeaway from the Great North road branch Ponsonby, where I ordered a papadum, along with Curry and rice and garlic Naan Bread. They told me papadums are complimentary. When I got it home, there was no papadum in the bag. The curry tasted very oily and like something you'd get in a food hall. The Garlic naan wasn't there either, but they'd included Paratha instead. Naan doesn't sound anything like Paratha so I don't see how they could get it mixed up. I rang up to give them feedback twice but no one picked up the phone. This place used to be really good but wouldn't go back there again due to missing items and substituted items and very average food.

   By far the worst Indian dining experience we’ve had in Auckland. Ordered two main dishes asking for med-hot spice, both came out completely mild and tasteless. One dish had a long hair in it and the chicken was dry and rubbery. The Garlic Paratha was saturated in oil and they also forgot our starter completely. Waste of time.

   Many years ago Satya was an award winning restaurant. What happened?? We walked in an the waitress just stared at us, then had to walk over to the counter to ask if she would come and take our order! The food was very average. The atmosphere was horrible.

3. ENKI'S FUN TECHNO STUFF (EnkiTrillionaire) ★★★★★

   Hands down best Mango Curry Chicken in town! Butter chicken is up there too. Used to go to their location in Grafton, but that has relocated I think. Lovely service too. Love the papadums!

   Very bad experience, we visited this place after being so tired from the trip. Food was sooo oily and honestly zero taste. Portions were so little for so much money. They had this garlic paratha for 5$ and it turns out to be frozen paratha. Samosa was dripped and lifted from oil. They were having this private party and there were at least 50 people in the group. And the manager of that group was literally drinking beer and was roaming in the entire restaurant. Above that he was eating with half a dozen plates on reception table, where people go to pay. Such a bad experience, never visiting this place again. That 1star is also for their waiter.

   It’s a small place tucked away at the end of K road but it is busy as hell and there are couple of reasons for that. The South Indian food here that we had on this occasion was excellent. Entrees here are also great, they only thing I found weird was big potatoes in chicken and fish entrees. They got our order wrong at times but we’re more than happy to accomodate it. Best to book ahead for this place as it gets very busy and they did seem hard pressed to serve everyone on time but managed it well. Good experience nonetheless, I will be recommending it to my mates.

   The food is OK - the price is reasonable. However some table are dirty and messy when we got there. The staff didn’t do the table. Also when female staff put the metal cups on the table, she made very loud voices - literally the cups are like dropping on the table.
