“Real high quality fiji food very hard to find!”
“My partner and I are regulars here. We love the food, never disappoints us. Good prices, full of flavour. Our favourite Indian restaurant within an hours drive of home”
“Omg The food was so scrumptious My hubby enjoyed our food to the max..we will definitely come back for another delicious meal. I 100 % recommend this place to anyone wishes to eat authentic Indian food. The service and the Chef was awesome..Great service, great food.”
“Authentic North Indian food. Delicious and mouth-watering.The services, too, were extraordinary. We would like to come here over and over again.”
“For the last three years, I have been ordering food for family get together (50+ people) and every time they have delivered a memorable feast. Friends and family always praise the food quality and perfection in taste. Whether it’s the starters (Fish pakora, Lamb sheek kebab, chicken lollipops, gobi Manchurian), mains (Mutton biryani, veg biryani) or the desserts (shahi tukda, kubani ka meeta) each and every person in the gathering from kids to adults enjoyed every dish. Thanks Top In Town for your food.”
“provides a comprehensive Indian dining experience, with a menu spanning both North and South Indian specialties. We opted for a lighter afternoon snack, sampling their dosa, tea, and lassi. The dosa was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and flavorful potato filling. The tea was a traditional, spiced blend, and the lassi was a refreshing and creamy yogurt drink”
“Have been here several times and the food has always been amazing. Authentic Indian cuisine with a wide variety of options - and all vegetarian. Food is always fresh, and the prices are also pretty reasonable. The Indian sweets are on the pricier side though. I had the chole bhature, which was freshly made, the chole had a good spice level and the bhature was fluffy and hot! My favourite! The service itself is just alright and they now have mechanical carts delivering food, so it takes away some personal touches in my opinion.”
“I had such an amazing time! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was incredibly friendly.”
“Very nice great tasting food. Fish curry snapper and chowmein was just so amazing. Restaurant and service reminded me of Fiji experiences. Really recommend to everyone.”
“Joy Kitchen is absolutely divine! The staff are friendly and always smiling, the service is wonderful and, of course, the food is absolutely perfect. Every time I go I try to taste something different from the menu and am never disappointed. After being in Auckland a short while and tasting multiple Indian food outlets, Joy Kitchen is head and shoulders above the rest. They will be seeing much more of my face! :)”
“We just had a phenomenal meal. The food was absolutely delicious. Mango chicken. And Paneer Tikka. Food was hot and flavourful. I really enjoyed the vegetables in the paneer dish. The Naan breads were piping hot and honestly, the best we have had in a long time. Service was fast and prompt. No delay in taking our order. Server was helpful with menu. Highly reccomend for authentic tasting food.”
“Had the best dining experience tonight thanks to Suresh! He was so warm, attentive, and went completely out of his way to make our celebration extra special. His smile and genuine care turned a great evening into an unforgettable one.”
“Wow. What a hidden gem of a place. Pure Veg food and such a good rate and great quantity. A must try for Veg lovers.”
“Had a great experience with Dosa Plaza Botany! We placed several big orders over the Navratri season, including one late order, and they accepted everything without any issues. The team was very accommodating, and the service was prompt and reliable throughout. Food was consistently fresh, delicious, and well-packed. Really appreciate the professionalism and customer-focused approach. Ordered Fried Rice, Hakka Noodles, Butter Paneer, Veg Manuchurian, Veg Korma and Garlic Naan — everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were well-balanced, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The butter paneer was rich and creamy, and the noodles and rice were perfectly cooked. Really impressed with the prompt service and quick delivery. Will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended for both taste and reliability. Appreciate the excellent service and quick turnaround. Thanks Miki and team.”
“I had my first Korma here and I loved it! Some Kormas I tried are not as creamy as theirs. We ordered the mango chicken today and it was as good! Staff gave us a free curry puff. :) Naan would be nice if it was served hot. :)”
“Absolutely fantastic. I've been to literally hundreds of Indian restaurants, both here in New Zealand and overseas. The Wishing Well is in my opinion, oner of, if not the best I've ever been to. The food is exceptional. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is unashamedly Indian. I can not recommend this restaurant enough. If you haven't been there, you are missing one of Auckland's finest. Thanks so much to the amazing people who run and own The Wishing Well. We will be back!!”
“Good quantity and quantity food. We went for chat only, samosa chat was good size, and panipuri was authentic in test, loved Rasmalai as desert, and highly recommend to try Rasmalai at least once from this place Good service and waiting time were reasonable for weekend lunch timing. Music and lighting added quality to time spent here”
“Exceptional spice quality — fresh, aromatic, and premium. The flavours stand out beautifully in every recipe. Packaging and delivery were also excellent. Highly recommend for authentic and rich spice blends.”
“Very good service and food! Tried butter chicken, korma chicken and masala multiple times - big amount and all taste great! Also the price is reasonable in the food court”
“I have eaten here multiple times. I can highly recommend the absolute home-cooked authentic Indian food available on Queen Street, at Queen Food Court: near Wakefield St. Nepalese family, the business is called BOMBAY CHINESE - but the food is very traditional home-cooked food where I am from, Bihar/Uttar Pradesh.”
“I tried many Indian eateries here in Auckland and found the pure real Indian authentic taste. Their papdi chaat and pav bhaji was really good, as expected. Overall value for money with great service and cleanliness. Special thanks to the owner, sort the tables out for us for dine-in! This will be our go-to place.”
“This has been our go to place from last 3 years now. Every time the food never fails the standards. Feels like home…”
“Krishna served me, very warm and energetic, got the lamb Rogan Josh and some naan, which was perfectly cooked.”
“Best curries in all eastern suburbs. Highly recommend Try once you will be back I have a curry at least 2 a month. Never been disappointed”
“We always have a fantastic experience dining in or out of Hemis Curry Corner. Great Goat curry! Good selection of snacks, sweets. Great fast food! Love Fijian style Chinese food and this restaurant makes one of THE BEST in town! Many thanks from all our staff who enjoy Hemis every week.”
“Omg this place is great! So many options! The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful about the 'heat factor' of their food. We got the korma and naan along with another beef dish and it was one of the yummiest meals we had our entire stay in Auckland! Wish we had one in Aus!”
