   For the last three years, I have been ordering food for family get together (50+ people) and every time they have delivered a memorable feast. Friends and family always praise the food quality and perfection in taste. Whether it’s the starters (Fish pakora, Lamb sheek kebab, chicken lollipops, gobi Manchurian), mains (Mutton biryani, veg biryani) or the desserts (shahi tukda, kubani ka meeta) each and every person in the gathering from kids to adults enjoyed every dish.    Top in Town Biryani truly lives up to its name. Easily the best biryani house in Sandringham and honestly, in all of Auckland. The chefs are artists, always elevating their game with new flavours and a range that other places simply cannot match. Sufiyan, who manages the place, is exceptionally hospitable and genuinely friendly. A lot of other restaurants/takeaways could learn what real hospitality looks like from him. Keep up the good work!    I don’t like to review at all, as i have worked in this field as well. But this is next level. We have ordered family pack Goat Biryani and specially mentioned about spice level MILD and also asked at counter if its MILD or not at the counter while picking up. They confirm its MILD all the time but when we eat it it was too spicy, i mean extremely spicy. If you guys can’t make it mild please tell us before we waste our money on your food. Totally rip off.

   Curries are very spicy and quantity is less as compared to other places. We were told about one of the chicken dishes that its spicy but even the other 2 regular curries were on an extra hot end. We ordered 3 curries for a dinner with friends and then ended up getting some from other takeway as no one could handle their spice. All we could taste was chilli as it was over powering all the others flavours, which did not make the food enjoyable to eat. Would be good if they can warn customers about spice levels. Unfortunately, its never going back for us to this place.

   we go to get Indian food from this shop often and we have zero bad experience from them. every time food is delicious and staff are nice. I looooooove their garlic chicken and garlic fish. naan is always freshly baked.

   I love their biryani but only down fall is they give very little amount of meat. If i order small size biryani - they give 2-3 small pieces chicken. My chicken finishes but not the rice which is a waste for me.

   One of the poorest quality in Goat Biryani that I’ve ever had. We bought a Mega Family Pack Biryani for 69$ from here. This was for 5 of us for dinner and more than half of this was wasted as it was tasteless. Such a disappointment! We also got Chicken Lollipops which was comparatively okay in taste. Never gonna buy from here again.
