Was currently after some good Indian food and eat India was the place we could find near by. And this place will be the last time I will visit. Poor customer service for starters as if there was no soul left in their livelihood. Got our food without a smile back and left as if I made a nuisance to their day. Sat down and thought nothing of it, maybe they had bad day but apparently we had it worse than them. the food first of all horrifyingly bad. To my judgement I thought the tika masala was rich in flavour and a lot of curry. I guess not at this placeβ¦ the consistency of the food was nothing to crave for and I feel so sorry for the ones behind or even after us. The rice was too soft and it didnβt have structure to it maybe because they didnβt have structure to themselves. And because the consistency of the curry was watery??? That made our eyes cry with such distain. And to put sprinkles on this horrible cake just to make it look like a good piece we had been served an expired drink a whole month away for its best of use. During our own innocent meal we thought nothing of the likes that we experienced till my partner spoke up about it and finally realised how atrocious this place has been and has treated and as such I will never come back to a cheap knockoff of the true Indian cuisine that I would die for. To think I paid almost 24$ for a meal that can be served to rats in commercial bay the building of luxury my heart has been torn to shreds.

Omg this place is great! So many options! The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful about the 'heat factor' of their food. We got the korma and naan along with another beef dish and it was one of the yummiest meals we had our entire stay in Auckland! Wish we had one in Aus!

AVOID THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE QUALITY. FELT CHEATED. I was on my Lunch Break this afternoon and ordered Kheema Nan here. Horrible quality and there was hardly any Kheema stuffed inside. The staff who took my order had repeatedly asked the owner if she can take Kheema Nan Order as she suspected they don't have enough Kheema. Bur the Chef and Owner completely ignored her and still took this order just nake some money. Then I also ordered other snacks along with Nan which was Cold as and then they took almost 12+ mins just to warm up the same. Pathetically service and wasted my Break Time. Would really like to make an official complaint for this. I have attached photo of this Nan ..there was hardly any stuffing inside.

I asked for the $19.50 Veg Curry Special which included ANY vegetarian curry, plain naan, and a 400ml drink. She charged me $20.50. I queried, she said βoh paneer is more.β Nowhere on the signs does it say Paneer is $1 more. Does everyone have to pay more or just me?Furthermore, she served three groups of men 1st although I was there before them. I didnβt bring this to her attention, I just smiled and paid for the meal she over charged me for. The curry is quite nice and itβs location is convenient, but I will not visit again.

Was 8:30pm on a Friday night and most places had already stopped taking orders. Opted to go for a curry and after chatting with the friendly staff as to what was their favourite, went with the chicken tikka curry. There was plenty of meat, the gravy and rice were okay, just needed more salt. For $14.90, canβt really complain where everywhere else is charging close to $18+. The friendly service definitely added to the experience.

Used to love this place but now it's really bad! They used to give you so much chicken, you couldn't finish it. Today I literally got just 4 small pieces! That's 2 mouthfuls and your lunch is done. Still starving. Such a shame, it still tastes great, but I will never come here again for kid-size portions. Unfriendly service too.

My visit to this place left me feeling let down. The rude behaviour exhibited by the chef, coupled with the average quality of the food, made for a disappointing experience. I would hesitate to recommend this place to others, as there are undoubtedly better options in the area that offer exceptional food and courteous service.
