   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We tried the Botany thali at Lyallpur Restaurant and really enjoyed it, especially with its subtle South Indian touch. The thali was beautifully presented with a good variety of dishes, combining classic Punjabi flavours with hints of South Indian-style spices and balance. Everything tasted fresh and well cooked, with comforting flavours and generous portion sizes. The mix of curries, rice, breads, and sides made it a wholesome and satisfying meal. Service was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant ambience was clean and welcoming. A great place in Botany for anyone who enjoys a thali that blends North and South Indian flavours. Highly recommended!

   We ordered the Raj Kachori, which was really nice and flavourful. The Dahi Bhalla was okay. For the Chole Bhature, I felt the chole and the gravy could have been more flavourful — there are a few places in Auckland that serve a richer taste. Overall, a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement in some dishes.

   I tired the pav bhaji at the restaurant with some Masala tea and combo was so good. you got 6 piece of bread and a chunk of butter on top with onion overall it's was very nice experience overall I definitely recommend to try it there. And its also very affordable.

   Had such a great time at Lyallpur Sweets Botany. The food was full of flavor and felt truly authentic - you can tell they put a lot of care into every dish. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed lunch. We couldn’t resist and ended up trying a variety of starters - each one better than the last! We left full and happy, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area

   I guess this place could be more cleaner…the seating arrangements give an unclean vibe…at times you may need to remind the staff about your specific orders (such as no yogurt in the chaat, etc). Staff can be more welcoming and friendly. I liked their thali though (for taste, quality and quantity). I guess overall, I don’t get a welcoming feeling here as I find the staff unfriendly.

   I bought bhalla papri chaat and quantity seems to be for half plate in full price. Looks like new staff or chef as i use buy lot from these guys but this time something changed. Not sure who to speak with as all seems new to me and they said this is the right amount which is clearly not - 12/01/2023 08:10PM

   We aimed for another indian restaurant and while waiting for our friends we walked around the street and stumbled across this restaurant. After browsing the menu we were impressed with the different ethnic region of meals it covered- North and South Indian, Indo-Chinese, Italian, Pali, and others. We decided to dine in here and the restaurant was bright and spacious. Food was interesting for us 1st timers and they were generally light and easy to digest. The only thing my friends complained about was the cold draught that came through the glass entry doors and even colder when someone opened the door. We appreciate the food nevertheless and recommend anyone who are used to eating north indian dishes to try something different from their menu as it may surprise.
