Second and last time we will be ordering from curry Hutt. Food was pretty bland. Got the family special (chicken Tika and dal makhani)

Visited my local curry house for the first time today. It was a very quiet Wednesday with only one other table taken. Chicken Balti, rice and naan. Probably the best naan in the area. Good balti too, although the medium spice level was hotter than other Indian restaurants.

We have moved house twice in the last few years, once to diary flat and once to silverdale - weโve tried other curry restaurants but we have always gone back to curry Hutt. We definitely think it is the best curry on the coast 100%. Also has good family deal which many donโt! Highly recommended!

My partner and I are regulars here. We love the food, never disappoints us. Good prices, full of flavour. Our favourite Indian restaurant within an hours drive of home

Ordered $15 special meal, I had Chicken Tikka Masala and rice, very good portion. The chicken taste very tender, sauce contains rich flavor. Canโt wait to go back and try others on the menu! Highly recommend to you all~

I recently visited Curry Hut with high hopes of enjoying a delicious Indian meal. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations, we now understand why we were the only ones dining in. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was quite disappointing, as it lacked the cozy and inviting atmosphere that is often associated with Indian dining. The lighting was harsh, and the decor felt outdated and uninspiring. Adding to the subpar ambiance was a distracting TV that was placed prominently within the dining area. The constant noise and flickering images from the TV detracted from any attempts at creating a relaxing and enjoyable dining environment. Moving on to the most crucial aspect - the food. The flavors of the dishes I ordered were notably bland and lacking the authentic, robust taste that I had hoped for. It was evident that the spices and seasonings, which are typically the heart of Indian cuisine, were either underused or improperly balanced. One particularly disappointing element of the meal was the naan. Contrary to my expectations of a soft and flavorful naan, what I received was thin, almost wafer-like, and severely lacking in taste. Naan is usually a staple that enhances the entire meal, and its disappointing quality certainly impacted my overall impression of the restaurant. In conclusion, my visit to The Curry Hut Red Beach left me unsatisfied on multiple fronts. From the poor ambiance and distracting TV to the lackluster flavors of the food, I can't help but feel disappointed. I sincerely hope that the management takes these points into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to regain the authentic and enjoyable Indian dining experience that diners expect. Suggestions: Ambiance Enhancement: Invest in improving the restaurant's ambiance by incorporating warm lighting, comfortable seating, and culturally relevant decor to create a welcoming atmosphere. Minimize Distractions: Consider relocating the TV to a separate lounge area or removing it altogether from the dining space to preserve the dining ambiance and dividing the entrance for takeaways. Flavorful Revamp: Reevaluate the recipes and spice blends to ensure that the dishes are bursting with authentic Indian flavors, catering to both mild and spicy preferences. Naan Quality: Pay special attention to the preparation of naan, ensuring it's soft, fluffy, and rich in flavor, enhancing the dining experience. Service Training: Provide staff with training to enhance their knowledge of Indian cuisine, allowing them to better guide customers through the menu and offer recommendations. Customer Feedback: Encourage diners to share their thoughts through comment cards or an online platform, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement. I genuinely hope that my feedback and suggestions are taken constructively, as I believe that with some changes, The Curry Hut has the potential to offer an exceptional Indian dining experience.

Fish for the kids was raw, I didn't even get an apology it was as if they were annoyed, they re fried the fish and was still raw, still no apology. Tikka masala's were more like a bland salty stew. We couldn't eat 2 of them we ordered. Naan breads were OK. Hate to give 1 start review to local business and how they use this review to improve service and food.

Avoid, not good at all. Visually not great, ludicrous amount of bread, the curry inside didn't taste much. Plus it's not cheap. I've edited the review to repost it as it seems owner is reporting reviews.

We got Samosas and food the other day. Samosas were re-fried not sure how many times and there was oil dripping through inside and outside of it. Sadly, we had to threw it away because they were not at all safe to eat and could make you sick with super sore throat. Food quality is okay but quantity is quite less. The lady takes order is unfriendly. Wouldnโt recommend!!! If anyone is a fan of traditional Indian food, unfortunately we donโt have anything good in the Hibiscus however there are good Indian restaurants in CBD and central.

Very bad experience. We ordered chicken biryani. They sent lamb biryani. No taste at all. Just some spices mixed with boiled meat. Ref to the picture. Would not recommend this place at all. Not worth the price you pay.
