   A great wee find in Ponsonby. Food wasnt too bad, duck was s tad overcooked if I'm honest (and I am). Vegetables tasty enough but hugely expensive. Cocktails were divine and service was brillant.

   Jervois Rd Wine Bar + Kitchen delivered an exceptional dining experience that exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, everything was flawless. We started with the lemon pepper calamari, which was perfectly tender and seasoned to perfection. The truffle fries were indulgent and had just the right amount of truffle aroma, making them impossible to resist. The wagyu beef sliders were a highlight – juicy, flavorful, and served with a delightful balance of textures. The mains were equally impressive. The wagyu brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with bold, rich flavors. The lamb cutlets were cooked to perfection, beautifully tender with a touch of smokiness. The goat cheese croquettes were a creamy, crispy delight that added a perfect complement to the meal. To top it all off, the pomegranate sour was a fantastic choice – expertly mixed, refreshing, and a great pairing for the food. Every dish was presented beautifully, and the flavors were nothing short of incredible. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere of the bar was cozy and inviting. Jervois Rd Wine Bar + Kitchen is a true gem, and we can’t wait to return for another memorable dining experience! 5/5 stars. Highly recommend!

   My party of 4 came here on the First Table deal. My companions got the wagyu beef brisket and the prawn fettuccine. I got the lamb cutlet. My companions enjoyed their food. The wagyu was really good, the prawn fettuccine although quite oily but still tasted good. Unfortunately my lamb cutlet was a disappointment. It came with three tiny cutlets and each cutlet was more than 50% fat and hardly any meat. I asked if this was normal (I know it isn’t because I’ve had lamb cutlets at multiple places and none like this) and I was told this is normal and that the fat is edible? Yes, of course the fat is edible but am I paying to eat lamb or fat? Needless to say, I left angry, hungry and disappointed. I’m glad I came here on First Table because I’m definitely not going to pay full price for this hideous lamb cutlet. I wouldn’t return.

   FANTASTIC! I hosted a private event at the Jervois Road Wine Bar. Benjamin and his team facilitated the best event with fantastic food, wines, cocktails, music, and dessert. Benjamin and his team put their personal touch into making this venue special and were beyond accommodating into making our night the way we envisioned. I couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you!

   Been twice now and the staff are very welcoming and provide great service. Did the sharing meals for our small group and was tasty & delicious, cocktails were on point. RnB singer Stowers performed and was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, will definitely keep returning with friends and family to enjoy.

   I am currently sitting here at the table wondering how I have never heard of this place before. We found it from First Table which usually are fine but disappointing. I can tell you now I am not disappointed. After the meal I had tonight I am positive there isn't anything you could order on the menu that wouldn't be absolutely impeccable. Very impressed and if I could fit more food in my belly, I would! This place is designed to have small plates. But the quality makes up for it for sure. Photo of my empty plate because I ate it too quickly to take a photo of my meal. I had the Calamari and the Wagyu Beef Brisket!

   Excellent experience from the online booking to the end of the evening. Very warm welcome even tho we were an hour late. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful food, our first experience of cocktails (we are beer drinkers), the live soloist was world class, the other patrons were very welcoming just an overall amazing experience.
