“I've had two great meals here with friends over the last year (which is also how often I've been to Auckland over the last year lol), the Mussels are delicious! This time they had a new dessert on the menu, a Banoffee Pie, and it was stand out good!! 100% will order again if I'm back in Auckland. The staff are fantastic, really attentive and good at what they do, they make you feel like family. And they are so careful with dietary restrictions, we have a few coeliacs in our group and with everything on the menu being available as gluten free, they really enjoyed themselves, and the staff double check about the dietary restrictions to ensure no issues.”

“We had a wonderful dining experience. The place seemed more like a bar at first, but the food truly amazed me. The focaccia was soft and airy, and the steak was juicy and fresh. Everything was full of flavor, and I especially loved the salad and the paper corn sauce! The manager kindly agreed to let us sit outside and even turned on the cool fire heater, although it did take a bit of time to warm up in the freezing winter! We loved the experience and will definitely come back to dine at this place again.”

“The insane wings are very hot dont eat them but nice normal wings and have the most spice anywhere finishing these aint easy but they need to make a hotter wing”

“Look. If you want to feel looked after and have a good feed come here. The staff are excellent and the food is delicious, second time being here and it’s still as good as the first time. I came back the second time because I knew that this place would be outstanding. I made good memories here with friends. Not gonna lie, this will be the worst part about leaving NZ. So if you come to Auckland and don’t want delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere to have a few pints in, aswell as be treated so bloody well by the staff. Go somewhere else.”

“Great atmosphere. Food is really delicious. The only reason for 4 stars is that the steak was a little bit over cooked, but luckily still pink. The stuffed chicken was fantastic, the peppercorn sauce the star of the show! Friendly staff and prompt service. Great restaurant with good variety. Today, I couldn't fault anything. And the 2 girls that served us were SO amazing!! It felt like home! Thank you so much!”

“Was absolutely amazing. Greeted by friendly staff and taken straight to our table on a busy Saturday (we had booked and would probably recommend as was very busy) Companion had the kumara burger and it was delicious. I had the platter "for 2" which was phenomenal decent portion of each item and all were delicious. We then had desserts and they were very tasty. All the staff were very nice too. Will definitely be back!”

“I went to Caffe E Cucina for a tinder date (which went pretty well, I think she likes me!) for lunch, and had a great time. We ordered different kinda small plates from the prima section of the menu and shared those which worked well as we weren't super hungry. The service was good, and prices not toooo bad. The food was definitely the highlight (after the company) with everything cooked to perfection. Seared tuna blew my mind.”

“Absolutely love the food here! I always get the quesadillas and eat it all up every time. The service was also great, the staff were attentive and fast. The interior is nice and clean, just in the day there are a lot of wasps inside especially in the sunny areas near the windows.”

“If you haven't been to this cafe, then you're missing something very good in Beachhaven. I think it has new ownership and they deserve to survive. The coffee is great. It's Altura my husband's favourite. Lots of people were coming and going, which is good to see. The food could have been at any five-star establishment.”

“This is how a sports bar should be. Clean, and well-presented with no drama. It's part of the community and several local groups hold meeting there. There are raffles and a fishing club. Even free bread from the local bakery on occasion. The beer is very well priced and although the menu is none existent you can bring in food from other establishments.”

Propa decent bit of food and portions are massive especially the hake and chips I think. If your just passing through I honestly recommend coming here for few beers and food.”

“First time here and came after seeing the reviews. It absolutely didn't disappoint. Went for the seafood tartare to start which was really beautifully flavoured with hints of corriander and so fresh. Then went for one of the Wagyu scotch options. Had it medium rare upon recommendation from our lovely waitress. It was possibly one of the most beautifully flavoured tender pieces of steak ever. Both of us went for the same steak. If I come again I'll probably go for a few more side orders, went for the creamed spinach which was lovely. Will definitely return! Highly recommend and I am very fussy!”

“Dropped by on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised by their steak special with eat value and cooked just right. The mussels were fresh and nice, definitely a highlight. It is a lively spot, but I managed to get a table straight away with no wait, which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and attentive.”

She was extremely helpful and was really patient when we communicate with her, she was also enthusiastically conversing with us. Her service made our experience in this restaurant outstanding. Shania was really fast and efficient when it comes to bringing the food on time and also taking our used plates and glasses. Thank you so much for an amazing service!
