“Finally made it to Hugo’s Bistro for their weekend dinner offer — I’ve always wanted to dine here, and this was the perfect excuse! We absolutely loved everything from the moment we arrived. The welcome was warm, and the host who looked after us made our evening feel genuinely special. The complimentary glass of champagne was such a thoughtful touch. The menu is beautifully curated, and every dish we tried was exceptional. You can really feel the care and craft behind the food and the service. Hugo’s, you’re truly deserving of all the accolades you’ve received. We can’t wait to return!”

“Food was incredible. Came here for my partners birthday at lunch time very quiet and Food was delicious had kufta and lamb kebab with bread and wow the garlic sauce that came with the kebab was amazing never had anything like it! Bread was great meat was so succulent. The kufta sauce was delicious and the meatballs were succulent and I wish I could have eaten it all but I was so full! Thank you for this amazing food”

We finally got the chance to experience it for our wedding anniversary dinner—and it did not disappoint! We opted for the seasonal menu with wine pairings and couldn’t resist adding a Culprit classic as well. Every bite was a delight. Truly loved it! The restaurant’s soft music, stylish décor, and gentle lighting created the perfect romantic and relaxing atmosphere. A big thank you to the professional and friendly staff who made our evening even more special. Keep up the amazing work! “Tucked away on a corner, didn't know this place existed until a couple of weeks ago. Clean, tidy and spacious inside, outside has a couple of tables. Has a modern casual feel to it. Heaps of parking. This place has really good food, fresh and tasty as. Staff/owner very friendly and accommodating. Recommend you to try it out!”

“Delicious!! I tried the lemongrass beef banh mi and iced coffee. The sandwich was tasty with a good amount of beef, crisp veggies, and fresh bread. I asked for spicy, and it had a great kick to it! The coffee was strong and sweet. Prices were very reasonable, and the lady in the kitchen was so nice. Thank you for the food!!”

The chicken raptor stands out as my favorite with its perfect blend of onion rings and fried chicken. If you're in the area or passing through, it's definitely worth a stop. They serve promptly, and the fries complement the meal excellently.”

I especially enjoyed the sauces, which were incredibly tasty and elevated each dish. “Went to Lowbrow for dinner with the family and we were seriously impressed. They’ve got something for everyone - a gluten free menu (which made me so happy), a regular menu and even a proper kids menu. “Our first time here and we were very pleased with the ambience, food, staff and prices. The place filled up quickly with customers, but it didn't slow down the dishing out of food. The owner was walking around talking to the patrons and the wait staff were quick in attending to tables and bringing out orders. It was very very windy and cold outside, but with the windows closed and the heat pumps on, it very pleasant inside. Will definitely visit again, but maybe in summer when the weather permits us to sit outside and enjoy the beach!”

“Really nice cooked breakfast. It took a little while to arrive but that was because it was cooked from scratch with care and attention. The quality of the food and ingredients was really good. The place itself is pretty bare and basic, but also spotlessly clean. The owner was happy for me to move a table outside next time I go so I can bring my dog along. I went to the Columbus Cafe up the road the weekend before and was really disappointed with a similar breakfast. If your looking for a nice breakfast and good coffee from a friendly host go here. Especially go here over Columbus.”

“Amazing Korean fried chicken in the heart of Glen Innes shops. The burgers are amazing and prices reasonable compared with other burger joints in the area. After years living in the area I gave it a go for the first time last week and now I'm in love with the place. Totally recommended!”

“Hong Kong cuisine with Vermicelli, Baked Rice, Sizzling Plate and Entrées. They also have Desserts and Drinks. Big portions and good value for money. The Baked Rice meals are good for sharing, as there are many choices and differentflavour sauce. Plenty of parking right outside and clean facilities.”

“I hadn't my breakfast and wasn't planning for lunch, so I thought why not to have brunch at Goode Brothers, I ordered mushroom burger, onion rings and pineapple juice for me. The taste were amazing, it satisfied my cravings for carbs and suger. I enjoyed it with lovely sunny and windy weather bcz I was seating outside. If you are vegetarian and don't know what to order, try this mashroom burger at Goode Brothers. It was lovely experience to have brunch there. Highly recommend. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Everything was 10/10.”

“We did the pasta making class tonight and it was incredible!! Eloise, Luke and Jess looked after us so well the whole night, they were super personable and knowledgeable. It was heaps of fun and amazing value for money. We got so much food and two cocktails, plus our homemade pasta to take home all covered in our class cost. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a fun date or girls night!!”

“First German restaurant for me and I have to say: I will come back. Me and my partmer had the plate A and even if it looks big, if you’re hungry don’t worry you’ll eat everything. Loved the sauce and the smashed potatoes, reminds me of my grandma’s one. I like the fact that you have tomatoes, coleslaw and other salads on free service. We also had the tab german beer and nothing to add you know just a tab beer. But the owner is really kind and gave us a good experience. Boyfriend here, I’ve been to Berlin and the taste is familiar. I vouch for this only german restaurant in West Auckland. Traditional I love it”

“We've been here twice in the last month, and had a great meal each time. The new owners are really friendly and nice, and the bar has a nice coast atmoshere. On the Halloween night they had a dress up session with prizes, and Nelly was perfect as an Angel. The food is all great. I highly recommend the pizzas and the steak. Both are excellent. If I had to make one improvement suggestion, it would be to perhaps get a a wider range of craft beers. But generally this is a great place that I highly recommend.”
