Do yourself a favour and get one of the Vietnamese dishes. One of the best Viet food places and not too expensive. They provide good quality and generous portions of meat. We got the Asian Duck Salad and the Beef Pho. The owners and workers are lovely too! We got to sit outside by the water and there was shade provided.

Great selection of food in the menu with generous portion. Prices were very affordable, almost pre-inflation prices! They also offer Vietnamese inspired dishes as well as your typical cafe menu like eggs benedict, french toast.

Really delicious food, great quality and super tasty. The drinks were tasty, no complaints! The ambience here is really nice, great view as well.

My daughter and I just adore this gem! Fabulous outlook, service, drinks and food are presented wonderfully well! And super delicious! I would have no hesitation to recommend to my discerning friends and family to go for a drive to Gulf harbour, take in the surroundings and relax and enjoy you refreshments and food at the CHERRY CAFE you will be suitably impressed! Arthur C. Charlton west Auckland Recent visit 21/06/2025, my beautiful daughter and I dropped in for lunch after exploring the now defunct Gulf harbour country club and ruins, quite emotional! However the Cherry cafe with absolutely excellent service and food cheered. the both of us. We always get ROYAL service from the delightful staff, drinks perfect and we always have fish, chips with fresh salad! Super tasty and delicious! The views from outside area and deck are outstanding! This would be my recommendation to take a partner for a inspirational meal, mixed with a bit of romance, if so inclined XXXXX

Had lunch today and was quite impressed about the Egg Benedict’s and Spanish omelette that we ordered. Quite a nice little cafe to settle into in a warm sunny day.

Service and friendliness off the team is excellent. You get exactly what you see. Coffee is great in Gulf Harbour and always full. The consistency is always good and definitely the place to be for breakfast in the morning

We ordered a few dishes and made the local kitchen staff a bit busy, waiting time was about 15 mins the cafeteria was very busy and the local chef was very organized and busy going. Dishes presentation was very good and prices are reasonable. So we enjoyed our food and time spent in this cafeteria.

The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and efficient. I initially couldn't find them, because the entrance seems to be that of apartments and villas, but they are underneath the apartments, and out back, so not visible from the roadside. They don't have a big cabinet food selection, and about 4 cake options. The food leaving the kitchen looked good, although I didn't order anything myself. They have seating inside, on the patio, and outside. It looks over a private marina. I just wanted to dive into the beautiful clean water. The view is lovely, and I can see people having a nice chat out there. The carrot cake was fine. Unfortunately the coffee had too muc foam for a flat white and it was a bit cold
