Great place. I have been here before but first time reviewing it. The atmosphere was nice but loud but then again it is the Christmas season. We ordered the margarita pizza and the Goode platter. Both were fantastic. We also ordered three desserts which were all fantastic. Family ordered cocktails.
After a fun game of mini golf next door, my family and I stopped by Good Brothers in New Lynn for lunch. We don’t eat out often, so this was a special outing for us. We started with drinks and a kids’ meal to share. The drinks came quickly, but no extra plates were provided even though we mentioned the kids would be sharing, so we had to get up and ask for some. About 20 minutes later, our main order still hadn’t been taken, so we asked another staff member (possibly the manager) to help. It took quite a while for our meals to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. No one checked on our table or asked if the kids’ meal was okay, and I eventually had to go to the front to ask if our meals were still coming. When the food finally arrived, the fries looked reheated and were soft and stale. The pizza wasn’t hot or fully cooked — the dough was gluey with only a few pieces of meat topping. The manager was apologetic and offered to replace our meals, which we appreciated, but we decided to leave. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience this time, but we like the location, it’s a convenient, family-friendly spot with great vibes. Hopefully next time the service and food are a bit more consistent, as Good Brothers New Lynn has great potential.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! me and my Partner have been coming here more often and we highly recommend this place for any sort of special occasions! We came here for my parters 21st, a few dates with eachother and with our family. Like always it is lovely to speak to Ekam, he gives top of line service by making us feel at home here in the paradise of goode brothers new Lynn! Today me and my partner had dinner again and even though we were a-bit late the staff gave us top tier service, we were served by Layla, Mel, Izzy and Jess! We were served by them as we were the second to last family to eat here and they still gave us the best experience as if they had just started their shifts! When we paid the lady that helped was very humorous and helpful! I live in Flatbush, south Auckland and would skip all the other goode brothers just to come and dine here, Take my word for it- It’s the greatest one there is!!! Thanks team,
We had our daughter’s birthday party at Good Brothers New Lynn, and it was such a hit! Bella hosted the Bambino pizza-making class and was absolutely fantastic with the kids — they were so engaged and had a great time creating their own pizzas. The party ran smoothly from start to finish, and everyone left happy (and full!). We went to a movie beforehand, and being so close to the restaurant made the whole day super easy and stress-free. Highly recommend for a fun, kid-friendly celebration. Thanks again to Bella and the team!
We did the pasta making class tonight and it was incredible!! Eloise, Luke and Jess looked after us so well the whole night, they were super personable and knowledgeable. It was heaps of fun and amazing value for money. We got so much food and two cocktails, plus our homemade pasta to take home all covered in our class cost. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a fun date or girls night!!
Goode is one of my favorite places. Great vibe, food, staff. I also love the fact that they serve coffee until late. Staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s always fun to have amazing conversations with Sefa too. Overall great people and service. Highly recommended!
Food came out real fast. Waiter trinity was amazing! Read our order back and confirmed everything. She was really nice. Pizza came out nice and hot with the mains. I loved the fries!! They’ve changed it and that was probably a highlight. Better service than what we’re used @ new Lynn goodebrothers. Keep it up team!
Really good top notch service, friendly, quick, efficient, top quality tasty and great looking food, nice atmosphere, good for families or a group/work dinner. Highly recommended! Will definitely be back, also helps that they are part of JoyLab for loyalty points, very generous at 10% of what you spend!
We went as a large group on an unplanned visit. Staff quickly put some tables together for us. Food was nice and kids enjoyed the fish and chips from the children's menu.
