“My friend had popped over from Melbourne and was staying at the Park Hyatt so we decided to come here. A very good choice we made. The service was very quick and the drinks and food was top notch. We had The Hail Mary (Philly cheese steak) and The fried chicken burger with a couple of drinks. The fries that came with the food was crispy but soft inside and Steak Sandwich was superb. It was a bit loud but the music was great. All in all we had a good evening out.”
“Amazing food, excellent staff and beautiful surroundings. Would definitely visit again.”
“All round great experience! The staff are kind and check in just enough. The chef was so funny! We had a great time thank you very much. Highly recommend lunch deal, it's a decent portion and doesn't feel heavy afterwards.”
“I had their Manly Burger and it was superb. Almost a meal in itself. Steak, bacon, beef pattie, beetroot, lettuce, egg, onion, ketchup and cheese on a toasted sesame seed bun. Superb!”
“I’ve tried americano from other pizza huts but Pukekohe makes one of the best pizza, i love Pukekohe pizza hut, you guys are amazing”
“Check this out for a chicken breast was bigger then the size of my hand!! Great value”
“I recently dined at Miyuki restaurant, and the experience was delightful. The food was delicious, with the sushi and tuna standing out for their freshness. The egg chicken katsu was flavorful, and the broth was perfect for a chilly day. Although the teriyaki eel was a bit too sweet for my taste, it was still enjoyable. Overall, the prices were affordable, making it a great value for the quality of food served.”
“A cozy open spot at Royal Oak. Had a delicious flat white with coffee art of a swan. Nice open top area and was relatively busy.”
“Highly recommend their fried chicken wings. I would drive 30 min just for them. They have a very extensive menu - there's something for everyone. Not too expensive either! Limited parking but wheelchair accessible. Fast service too.”
“the best yam char restaurant in Auckland Old fashion but the food is fantastic ****** That was before Covid 928 Yamchar had been in the same location for decades. After Covid it turned into a seafood lovers paradise, offering fresh cook seafood menus including hotpot and stir-fry. $198 as a base for a rich ingredients seafood combination hotpot. It sounds pretty expensive but it's actually worthy to give it a try Two of us were so full with this basic seafood hotpot, we should get more people to order more .”
“The food was excellent! The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the fries were fresh. A special mention to the duty manager, Subash, who was very friendly. Keep up the great work!”
“I dined in at Po’ Brothers in Ponsonby and was immediately impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the welcoming staff to seat me. The restaurant interior was black and sleek with orientalists lantern embellishments leaning to the Thai Isaan influenced cuisine. My entree of Prawn Blossom Rolls served with Japanese sesame sauce was divine and my main of Som Tam Salad, Grilled Chicken and sticky rice was exquisite, so fragrant and super hot and spicy as requested. Highly recommended with distinction!”
“We've been here before, and the food is truly amazing. We brought our friends along, and they absolutely loved it!”
“friendly attentive staff, who didn’t miss a beat.we had the calamari to start, yum! then 12 hour lamb which is massive and so juicy and delicious with a side of asparagus, which i was super surprise how good it tasted! all three dishes had there individual special magic sprinkles bits that i have no idea what half of them were , i just know it was delicious , and the bonus being there is so much lamb we got to take it home, so looking forward to having an other go tomorrow”
“If you're looking to experience authentic Thai food, this restaurant is a must-visit! The flavors are truly genuine and well-prepared, offering a delightful taste of Thailand. The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the higher side. However, the cozy and pleasant environment makes it a great place to enjoy your meal. Overall, it’s worth the visit for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine!”
“Delicious food, Excellent portions, enough to have to have lunch the next day. Have one happy gf”
“Great place, reminded me of Beijing. We have the seafood banana prawn hotpot and the pork rib claypot with salted egg. Brilliant food, great value. We will be back again!”
“Amazing food and decor. All very tasty and fulfilling. Service was attentive too. The interior restaurant looked like the inside of a train and would be great to sit in too.”
“Had experience like fine dinning restaurant. Foods look so nice and taste delicious. Good service Highly recommend Will be back for sure”
“Great venue and staff. A trek down some steep stairs but I've attended some great gigs here. Usually good sound. Toilets can be hard to access when packed and it can get very warm but I still find it a great spot.”
“We had a wonderful experience at Bivacco — starting with great cocktails and a crisp brut that paired perfectly with a sunny waterfront afternoon. The Roasted Hawke’s Bay Lamb Rump and the Black Angus Eye Fillet were cooked beautifully and full of flavour. We finished with the Classic Tiramisu and an Affogato, the perfect end to a relaxed, memorable meal. Highly recommend.”
“Stayed at connecting hotel. Dined in. Traditional Indian cuisine. Very friendly staff helped us to order as we were unfamiliar with dishes. 4 people. Was very delicious. Beer was different and weird. They need at least one common beer. A bit xxy but would go back again. Loved the friendliness of all the staff.”
“From the moment you walk in Reign and Pour brings a solid upbeat and relaxed vibe. The staff are friendly and incredibly attentive. The food.... Oh my goodness, so good. I had the stuffed chicken which was so well balanced in terms of flavour profile. My partner had the steak and said "this is the best steak I've had in quite some time." To share we also grabbed the cauliflower bites which were perfectly salted and crispy. We'll be back for sure!”
“Walked in to have a drink on a sunny Sunday lunch - but also ended up ordering food from White and Wong’s. boa bun, dumplings, papaya salad and they were all absolutely delicious! Away from the louder restaurants further on the wharf but still with a nice chilled atmosphere. Waiter was friendly and attentive.”
“I’m sort of a regular in botany and now having seeing one staff member (Sophia) who actually remembered me from there was sweet! I’m so happy with the service always delighted.”
“Have been here regularly, love the new katsu on rice deal”
“Consistently amazing crispy chips and light crispy battered fish. I normally sneak in some delicious potato fritters as well. Staff are charming and so helpful.”
“What a lovely place. From the moment we walked in we were made welcome and given a menu straight away. Our server was very attentive and makes a decent coffee too (definitely a bonus). The staff are so kind too - I witnessed 2 of them helping an older gentleman into his chair. The food is lovely and hot. On our most recent visit we had creamy mushrooms and a breakfast buttie. I loved how the house rosti was shaped like a birds nest. The house soda is also very refreshing. I am definitely going back.”
“I just discovered this little place and I will definitely be back! I have eaten Teriyaki Chicken Donburi more times than I can count but yesterday I had possibly the best ever here. Lots of perfectly cooked, succulent and delicious chicken, loaded with also perfectly cooked veggies, over plenty of rice that had just the right amount of sauce. I was asked if I wanted spicy and was advised, if I could tolerate a little spice (I can), it was the tastier choice. Great advice! There was a slight bite to the dish which improved the overall flavour without being so spicy you couldn’t taste anything else. The place is tiny and mostly set up for takeout. There are a few tables along one side but with very uncomfortable furniture. When I’m in the area I prefer to eat in during a break from shopping so more comfortable seating would have been nice. But that’s my only negative. And I like that they have longer hours than the other Japanese place in the area. Loved this little spot, can’t wait to go back!”
“The Paw Bar and Eatery is a fantastic place to come with family/friends/a date or even on your own! The twinkling lights with all the beautiful plants make you feel like you are in a tropical resort. The staff are an absolute gem- super friendly and quick! There is a lot of space to sit outdoor or indoors. They have great events such as trivia and live music. I hosted a staff party there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The doggy menu is also obviously a huge plus and they always have many board games. Sizzling skewers are now a new highlight, which you cannot find anywhere else in the hood! I highly recommend swinging by. Cheers!”
