I recently dined at Monsoon Poon and had an enjoyable experience, though some aspects were better than others. The food was mostly average, with a few standout dishes. I particularly enjoyed the noodle dishes and the eggplant dish, which were both flavorful and well-prepared. However, the shaking beef fell short of expectations, as it was just average in taste and presentation. The service was excellent, with friendly and polite staff who made the meal pleasant. They were attentive without being intrusive, and the food arrived quickly, which was a plus. I also enjoyed the selection of entrees, which had a variety of interesting flavors and textures. Monsoon Poon offers a range of cocktails, and while they had some good options, most were fairly average. They were refreshing, but I felt they could have been more creative or bold in flavor to match the ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, Monsoon Poon is a solid choice if youβre looking for a lively atmosphere and decent food. I found it better than average, but thereβs room for improvement in some dishes. Based on my experience, Iβd rate it 4 out of 5 stars for a pleasant, albeit mixed, dining experience.

If you're looking to experience authentic Thai food, this restaurant is a must-visit! The flavors are truly genuine and well-prepared, offering a delightful taste of Thailand. The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the higher side. However, the cozy and pleasant environment makes it a great place to enjoy your meal. Overall, itβs worth the visit for anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine!

Came here a couple times, is a really nice Southeast Asian restaurant! Food is really nice and somewhat well priced for this nice restaurant. The atmosphere is quite nice and fancy, has a lot of decorations and that nice vibe! The food is also really tasty, decent portions for the price and just be aware that some dishes can be quite spicy!

Delicious food with great atmosphere. The staff were great. Food was incredible and most of our dishes had spice and yummy flavors. They accomadated our group of 9 on a really busy night. Music was nostalgic and fun. Service was fast once seated and meals were fast. We had Sticky pork belly, Fish and Prawns, Calamari, Panorama and they were exceptionally good. We will go back for sure.

First table review: Came here with a friend. Ordered prawns and chicken Malai as appetisers. Prawns were very bland, just steamed with a bit of fresh coriander. No dipping sauce. Chicken Malai was very very dru and also bland. Mains were lamb chops, Singapore noodles. Again very bland and no flavour. Lamb chops were nice cooked but lacked flavour. For SouthEast Asian one would expect strong and zingy flavours... The staff is nice though..

hopping lil spot in the CBD that makes decent bowl of laksa and perfectly poaches prawns. their kitchen has a wok side and a tandoor side which is super cool. I can't speak to anything else, but satisfied with the portions and food quality of what i ordered, especially for a pan Asian joint. it was a bit expensive for what was delivered but it is a popular spot downtown, so tonbe expected. I love the Mashup of iconography and art in the decor. The lighting is warm and low, which I love. the buzz of the room on a Saturday night is a low roar, which is to be expected. The service was kind, considerate, and quick, especially given the crush on a Saturday night, which allows plenty of room for some mistakes. I was very happy with the pleasant and attentive staff.

The atmosphere was lively and it was such a a great place to have a catch up with friends and family. Great DΓ©cor, welcomed by a lovely member of staff who was very attentive to our table. we had ordered a platter appetizer and mains each for 4 people with drinks and i can 100% say i walked out very very full. The food was delicious and tasty and so was the drinks. My favorite would actually have to be the nasi Goering as i love the spice and the egg plant. The pricing would be medium to expensive but its what you expect to pay for in a nice place in the city. Would 100% be back Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Price: 3.5/5
