Ordered and paid for two pieces of gurnard. Was definitely not gurnard - probably shark. No email or way to message the store to ask.
Food use to be so much better! A real shame!!! Wonder if under new management, as has been excellent for 3+ years - but now last 3 times the fish has been soggy, dripping with oil and not good at all. Sorry - wont keep trying!!
Always love coming here, with fresh snapper, tasty oysters, and potato fritters. Would highly recommend calling ahead, as wait times can be long.

Great fish and chip shop. The staff are friendly and they have the freshest fish at fair prices. You can choose between tempura or crumbed batter and both are delicious! Their batter is crispy and never greasy. The chips and pineapple fritters are excellent too.
The best chippy in the area. The gentleman who runs the shop is lovely and offered free lemons from his yard to use on the fish. Decent prices and very clean.
