   Tried the Christmas lunch buffet. The seafood selections, antipasto, and desserts were decent. Some of the ham was a bit dry, and parts of the roast beef were tough, but the truffle mac n’ cheese and truffle pizza were really good. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

   We had a wonderful experience at Bivacco — starting with great cocktails and a crisp brut that paired perfectly with a sunny waterfront afternoon. The Roasted Hawke’s Bay Lamb Rump and the Black Angus Eye Fillet were cooked beautifully and full of flavour. We finished with the Classic Tiramisu and an Affogato, the perfect end to a relaxed, memorable meal. Highly recommend.

   Great experience. My daughter wanted to come here for lunch.. food was outstanding, pizza and salad had fantastic flavours - food came out is great time for us and service ver pleasant. Place gets busy so do need to have a reservation during the weekend.

   The place is beautiful, both the view and the aesthetics, and the bathroom is charming. As for the food, I thought it was good, but we had a problem with a side dish that didn't arrive with the main course. Anyway, the staff apologized, and we decided to cancel the side dish.

   We stopped in here for lunch and I had what was hands down the best pasta I've ever eaten! We had a lovely time here, we were seated quickly and the service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing, which was nice. The food was served in good time and was beautifully presented and delicious. I'd recommend the goat's cheese ravioli to anybody!

   Friendly service, great food and nice atmosphere. I wouldn't have ordered the garlic bread if they told that bread and butter would be served prior to main meal - the knife was useless couldn't cut the bread as it was too tough, wasn't ideal for sharing meal. The prawn risotto and mushroom pizza were fantastic! Absolutely will be back, now I know what must to go!

   Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We opted to seat outdoors. For starters we had bluff oysters and mozarella sticks then for the mains we had the goats cheese ravioli, the beef tongue and the mushroom pizza. The goats cheese ravioli is to die for. I can’t count how many times I said it’s so yum. The beef tongue is a must try and the mushroom pizza is definitely a favorite. But the highlight for me is their tiramisu. The presentation and the taste is superb! Such a happy ending for a night’s meal. Staff were friendly and prompt in their service.

   From the delicious food to the stunning view, everything was top-notch. My favorite dish was the beef carpaccio, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service from girl at the front desk was exceptional and very knowledgeable about the menu.

   The food is fine but the service is not really great. First of all, we made the reservation and the front desk let us wait outside like 15 minutes. When we started our order and we didn’t ask for any recommendations, the person always wanted us to order something else instead. We had this steak and wanted some salt and pepper. We have tried to call someone to bring us the stuff, they just totally ignored our waving and it made us look kind of stupid. Anyway, food is fine but the service is terrible. You can’t lower your service standards just because of it’s a currently popular restaurant. You need good service to keep loyal customers.
