The food here isn’t the best. The cabinet items tasted stale and seemed like they’d been sitting for days. Kitchen-prepared dishes also lacked flavor. A menu refresh would really help improve the overall experience.
This is a favorite- been good for 30 years now. Went yesterday & fresh baking, quiche homemade.lovely presentation. And had a fab wine with it. Highly recommended
Unfortunately our food wasn’t the best. We order French toast x2 and one with bacon. Bacon didn’t look cooked at all. The Brioche toast was like pancakes and not toast and covered in so much butter. I won’t be coming back to this place as I’ve not got a tummy bug from the food.
It’s very good. You need to pay attention to the roadside parking space for 30 minutes. There is a parking lot behind the cafe. The food is delicious and large, and the clerk is also very enthusiastic. The coffee tastes good. We all like it very much. It is suitable for children and has children‘s meals.
Went Ellerslie Melba 30/7/23. Coffee really great nice and strong. The lady that comes to your table and takes the orders is a credit to your business so friendly and efficient. Food portions very generous and so yummy. Quick friendly service. Great team - thanks.
Yummy yummy yummy. I love a seafood chowder and I’m so happy with what I had. I would definitely love to come back for more.
My friend took me here for lunch, and i had the salad amd orange juice. The jiice is freshly squeeze so refreshing and yummy. Food also very tasty.
Loved the food and the portion sizes are decent, we had a hard time finishing our meals. The parmesan waffles were really nice and crispy and paired well with the sauces provided. Would definitely visit, if not the Mt Wellington branch, to one of the other branches they have.
What a lovely place. From the moment we walked in we were made welcome and given a menu straight away. Our server was very attentive and makes a decent coffee too (definitely a bonus). The staff are so kind too - I witnessed 2 of them helping an older gentleman into his chair. The food is lovely and hot. On our most recent visit we had creamy mushrooms and a breakfast buttie. I loved how the house rosti was shaped like a birds nest. The house soda is also very refreshing. I am definitely going back.
