   We usually come here and it’s always been good, but this time was a letdown. We ordered the $24 Pack 1 and 2, an egg burger and a couple of spring rolls. The fish in both packs was mushy and had a grey/black appearance that looked like mould at first, it looked extremely unappetising. The texture was off and none of us were able to eat it. Really unfortunate experience considering the usual quality. Hoping this was just a one-off, but it definitely put us off this time.

   Consistently amazing crispy chips and light crispy battered fish. I normally sneak in some delicious potato fritters as well. Staff are charming and so helpful.

   Friends and I had a beach day at Long Bay and we decided to call in and order dinner from here. My friends picked it up and brought it back to the park at Long Bay so we could dine picnic style. I had crumbed fish (as usual) and a sausage and they were both good with the hot chips that were salted well. Not sure what the total cost was but there were 4 of us. Disappointed that there were no lemon wedges with the order. This should be a staple with all fish and chip orders. Good location.

   Clean tidy shoo. Nice chips. Kids enjoyed hotdogs. Snapper was decent size and taste batter alittle soggy but pretty good over all.

   What a hidden Gem! Really good fish and chips. Good friendly staff. Overall value for money too. I saw the clown giving these guys 1 star, what a boofhead. To be honest sometimes things don't go right and you write them off for the first time? Sad! Yummy. Great Food. Thank you so very much! Bouquets and accolades to this little shop in the back of nowhere! Keep up the good work.

   A very nice shop. Clean and well presented. The staff were very good to deal with too. A nice selection of food on the menu to choose from. Would recommend Torbay Takeaways as being one of the best in the area. Will come again.
