   friendly attentive staff, who didn’t miss a beat.we had the calamari to start, yum! then 12 hour lamb which is massive and so juicy and delicious with a side of asparagus, which i was super surprise how good it tasted! all three dishes had there individual special magic sprinkles bits that i have no idea what half of them were , i just know it was delicious , and the bonus being there is so much lamb we got to take it home, so looking forward to having an other go tomorrow

   ⭐ 1/5 — First time writing a bad Google review, and unfortunately it goes to you, Siso. What was supposed to be a happy day — celebrating my friend’s birthday — turned into one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in Auckland. The moment we walked in, all we saw was a sea of people and an unbelievably loud environment. I honestly thought we had accidentally walked into a pub. Then we got taken to a spot all the way inside, where it was even more cramped. It was very obvious you were way past what you can reasonably serve. Now let’s talk about the food. We ordered almost every main course except the lamb. Let me be very honest: I haven’t had food this bad in Auckland for a long time. The presentation was average at best — I didn’t even feel like taking photos — and the flavors were absolutely not worth mentioning. And the Lasagnette… I don’t know if the chef was rushing to go home or what, but the pasta came out practically raw. Huge, wide sheets that didn’t make sense to eat, topped with a very bizarre poached egg. Like… what was that? Truly one of the most confusing dishes I’ve ever been served. On top of all that, Google clearly says you close at 12am everyday — that’s the only reason I booked this place. But at 9:45pm the staff were already pushing to clear our cake plates because “we close at 10.” Speechless！Ok？！ Overall, a chaotic, disappointing, and frankly baffling experience. No wonder people just come here to drink — because the food is simply not worth the money.

   We came for their truffle lunch special and found everything exceptional. Each mouthful was a flavour sensation, with use of both classic and creative cooking. This is our first time dining and we were surprised the interior is actually far more spacious than the storefront appears, with warm muted interior tones. The truffle lunch was excellent value for the quality and presentation of ingredients, and we now hope to return and try the rest of their menu. Thanks for a great dining experience.

   My partner and I visited Siso in Remuera on a Monday night and we were amazed at how busy it was. Every dish we had was a winner, highly recommend the pumpkin and hummus and freshly toasted sour dough to share as a starter, the espresso martini was fantastic as well.    What a great night with amazing tasting food!! Each dish was a mouth adventure with flavors that all went together so well, and kept you looking for more. Compliments to the chef on the menu!! We tried 4 starters and 4 mains and they all were perfect!! The atmosphere was alive, the service was friendly and prompt. I will be going back again and again for sure!.
