The food is great — it’s the same menu as White + Wong, so you know it’s going to be good. We sat in the dog-friendly area, which was really convenient. Service was good too. Overall, a nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
Walked in to have a drink on a sunny Sunday lunch - but also ended up ordering food from White and Wong’s. boa bun, dumplings, papaya salad and they were all absolutely delicious! Away from the louder restaurants further on the wharf but still with a nice chilled atmosphere. Waiter was friendly and attentive.
If you enjoy quality cocktails & honest staff do not waste your time & money at this venue. Firstly, the Margarita's were so bad that the manager agreed, and offered to refund both, as long as we ordered 2 x replacement cocktails. Given the gesture, we ordered 2 x Old Fashioned's and upgraded to Markers Mark in lieu of the supposed good gesture by Jatin. Went to pay and only 1 x margarita was removed, not both as agreed. When I raised this they lied & as my partner does not like to make a 'scene' I paid the $22 for a drink that I only one sip from. Incredulous and hence the 1 star.
Great spot for drinks and snacks during our first night in Auckland. Bartender was incredibly attentive and kind!
Huge thank you to the best ever barman at sardines Tom!! He always looks after us locals and goes well out of his way to make sure we are well looked after. He is a huge credit to this company. Thanks Tom for everything you do….plus amazing food also…. Keep up the good work Tom x
Great food and wicked spot. Cocktails were nice. Food was cheap and great size. Gluten and dairy free as well.
Lovely spot any time of the day for a drink. Amazing staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. Drink and cocktail lists are on point. Bar snacks from White & Wong / Burger Boy. Perfect.
The venue is part of White and Wong, has separate entrance also. Attentive waiter and bar tender. He turned on another patio heater to keep us warm before we requested him to. It made a big impression on me for being mindful.
