βWhat a fantastic place, stayed from the 6th to the 9th April, I chose here as it is very close to the Southern cross hospital where I had my operation. My room was really nice close to the main entrance which was a big bonus, the staff were really nice and helpful. Plenty of food places around even though I didnβt use them. Hoytβs cinema close by as well. But as I mentioned earlier it was the helpful staff that impressed me the most. I highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay again.β
βExcellent. Authentic and generous portions. Great service despite the limited staff.β
βThe lamb shank was delicious. Everyone at our table enjoyed their dinner. Hubby had the big steak & it huge! Very happyβ
βThis cafe was recommended to us by a family member for superb salmon bagels. Boy were we not disappointed. I prefer cooked salmon and nothing was too much bother to lightly grill the smoked salmon. It was amazing and very generous. All our table loved everything they had, fettuccine, blat, gf french toast and two salmon bagels. We loved to cafe, friendly, wonderful ambience. Would definitely recommend and return. Thank you. Absolutely loved it.β
βWhat an amazing experience!! A great and cozy place to hangout with friends and family. Food is delicious, loved the kimchi and everything on the table. The food is from the heart, when you eat it you can feel the love for the food.β
βThe red curry was very delicious. Its very creamy. Big portions they give. Even the chilli sauce tastes very nice. Nice customer service. The food came very quickly.β
βOrdered green curry with prawns and chicken cashew nut stir fry. We were so impressed with the freshness and quantity of the prawns, chicken and vegetables. What a great meal! Very happy!!!β
βI absolutely loved your Portuguese tarts β they were the best! Iβve been looking for them lately but canβt seem to find them. Where have they gone? Hope to see them back soon!β
βWe had our 8-year-old's birthday at Zone Bowling on the weekend. Callie was our host and she was fantastic. She had all the kids happy and engaged the whole time. We barely had to lift a finger the entire party. 10/10 for a party venueβ
βThey are community and hard courts. Good quality. Many car parks. Donβt hit the ball over the fence, unless you might not find it.β
βWonderfully store. Staff are really helpful, friendly, and patient.β
βI came here with a couple friends cuz they recommended it to me. I tried their black bean sauce noodle with seafood! Soo good! Such a hidden gem tucked away in front of the library. Most people would definitely pass by without knowing this place exists. Definitely give it a try! Great service and vibe as well!β
βTasty pizza. Ordered Margarita, Cranberry Chicken and Smoky Chicken. All were good, great amount of toppings, fluffy and crunchy base and reasonably priced.β
βExcellent food and service from Thai Street. Papaya salad was nicely seasoned and prepared. Tom yum soup is actually huge for $32.5 and good to share for four people. Pad Thai and beef was fantastic too.β
βBooked via First Table, so received 50% off meals, which made the value extremely good!β
βAfter an initial rocky start with noisy neighbours, the hotel reception shifted me to a different floor. The old room and the new room were identical. Both of them were great and quite clean maybe 9/10. The bed was comfortable, also clean and medium firmness, which I liked. Shower pressure in both rooms were good. Generally, I think this is a good place to stay if you need to be on Auckland's North Shore. Interactions with reception and housekeeping were always pleasant. There were very, very minor issues like the kettle flap was broken, the dryer ran extremely loudly. I was a little embarrassed to use the dryer at night due to the noise. The towels were thin and could be thicker.β
βSuch sweethearts, they allowed us to exchange our beer for cans (festivals). And they offered us sweets. Would definitely recommend. Thanksβ
βOutstanding food taste! And a good potion. I asked my son, would you like to come back next time. YES!β
βThank you Katie and Dana for your awesome customer service. I drove over an hour away to pickup items that ain't anywhere else. It's always a great experience when you have professional and efficient staff. I was in and out of store wasting no time. A very happy customer.β
βI've been coming here for years now, I compare them to everyone else's every time I get buns or curry, nothing compares, pinati's is still the best in New Zealand by far!β
βI popped in this morning while waiting for my car to be serviced down the road - staff uber-fine with me buying a coffee and setting up my laptop for a couple hours to get some study done - the blackboard menu won me over for a toastie as well - 5/5 so far as toasties go. Overall just a nice semi-rural down-to-earth welcoming vibe and I now have a cafe to visit whenever I'm in Waimauku with time to stop by.β
βLovely portions of food. Service busy but managed to get food out at a reasonable time. Money for value and doesn't cost you the earth. Tasty delicious and well presented. Well done staff and chefs.β
βA family favourite serving all the traditional Chinese food we grew up with. The Peking duck was expensive but worth it, though it was strangely quiet for a Sunday.β
βThe food was absolutely delicious! The chicken salad was especially tasty, the pork ribs were full of flavor, and my kids loved the jerk chicken burger. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!β
ββββββ Amazing Experience at Area 51 - Auckland Adventure Park Our recent visit to Area 51 at Auckland Adventure Park was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in was seamless, and the staff efficiently sorted out our wristbands. We appreciated that each type of pass was color-coded, making it easy to differentiate between different activitiesβsuch a thoughtful and organized system! The food at the reception was surprisingly good and well-priced. There was a great selection for both adults and kids. We especially loved the kidsβ meal options, which came with drinksβperfect for families looking to grab a quick bite before heading off for more adventure. It wasnβt just about convenience; the food was delicious too! From the reception, you can either head down to the lower part of the park, where thereβs a fun kidsβ playground, or make your way up to the bus stop for the ride up the hill. The Mitsubishi Rosa bus ride was comfortable, offering a scenic route to the upper part of the park. Up there, the real adventure beginsβluge rides, the exhilarating zip line, and the thrilling Shooting Star! One thing that stood out to us was the atmosphere. Right outside the reception, thereβs a luge car on display along with a price list for each of the activities, which really adds to the excitement and anticipation. Plus, thereβs a huge screen showcasing all the activities the park offers. Itβs a clever way to get everyone hyped up and makes it easy to plan your day. The park is well-organized, clean, and full of fun activities for everyone. Whether youβre with family or friends, thereβs something for every age group. Weβll definitely be returning, and we highly recommend Area 51 at Auckland Adventure Park to anyone looking for a thrilling adventure!β
βLove the milk tea. The pearls were sweet, soft, and chewy. Wonderful shop. The drinks are made with love, definitely will come back to support bubble tea shops that make drinks with love.β
βThe food is really good. Iβve loved everyone dish Iβve ordered here so far. The waiting time is usually 15-20 minutes so not too bad. There are quite a few bugs flying around inside however.β
βI had an amazing experience at this Super Spicy & Grocery shop! They offer an incredible selection of authentic Sri Lankan and Indian spices, snacks, and grocery items. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to offer recommendations. Whether you're looking for a specific ingredient or wanting to try something new, this place is a treasure trove for anyone who loves rich, bold flavors. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine!β
