I’ve always enjoyed shopping here, but my recent experience was quite disappointing. The staff were rude and disrespectful, and there were multiple pricing issues. It’s essential to double-check the prices, as the staff seem uncertain about prices and overcharges you. Many products are expired and covered in dust, and there’s often no pricing on the shelves. I recommend visiting Namaste India in Wairau instead; they offer brand same products/new items at much cheaper price and have a much friendlier team.

Their tone was disrespectful, which was surprising given my previous visits. Additionally, be cautious about pricing. I noticed discrepancies between what was advertised and what I was charged. It's frustrating to feel overcharged like that. If you're looking for a better option, I highly recommend checking out Namaste India, which just opened near Wairau. They offer brand new items at much cheaper prices and have a friendly, welcoming staff. It’s definitely worth a visit!
BEWARE! Check your receipts before leaving! We were overcharged even though we rejected one of the unpriced items. No apologies just a sarcastic remark when we noticed the overcharge and reported the issue. Not going back!

Our local Indian grocery store, owner Devanshi ben is always very friendly and helpful and you always get the best prices. Excellent service always and competitive prices. The grocery is always fresh as well.

awesome selection for pik n mix. one of the few places you can get bulk black pepper and garlic powder plus lots of other spices. I managed to find potato starch finally! also bags of frozen chilies and heaps of other Indian packaged foods. great love it!
