Recommend going when it is less busier as the service was top notch on Monday brunch, which was a big contrast to Saturday brunch where we weren't attended to. I think this is reflected in some of the reviews. Today we had Top notch service! They had fire places nearby tables which made it nice and warm on a chilly morning. Food portions were huge and we left feeling very satisfied! I would say one of the top brunch spots in Auckland CBD!”

We first discovered Joe’s Garage in Queenstown and instantly fell in love — the food, the layout, the vibe… everything was perfect. But the real star for us was the pancakes, which our daughter adored. For a whole year she talked about them and couldn’t wait to go back as we were from Auckland. So when we found out there was a Joe’s Garage in Silverdale, we were thrilled — even though we live all the way in Henderson, we were more than happy to make the trip. We finally arrived, excited and ready… only to learn that the famous pancakes are only served before 5pm, and we had arrived at 6:30pm. Our daughter was devastated, and honestly, so were we. But this is where the magic happened. Our wonderful server Tyra (who was also managing that evening) could see how much it meant to our daughter. We politely asked if there was any chance the chef might be able to make an exception. Instead of giving us a flat no, Tyra said, “Let me see what I can do.” She went to speak with the kitchen team, and came back with the most heartwarming news — their chef Hunter was willing to make a fresh batch of pancakes from scratch, just for our daughter. We were genuinely moved. This wasn’t standard service — this was above and beyond. Tyra’s kindness, and Hunter’s willingness to go out of his way, created a moment our family will never forget. Because of this experience, Joe’s Garage will forever have a special place in our hearts. Wherever we see a Joe’s Garage in the world, we’ll be loyal supporters — and our daughter will too. “This is a very good hotel. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and spotless. The hotel is centrally located will the marina 15minute slow walk, sky tower 5 minutes and queens Road shops also 5 minutes. The staff are very friendly, professional and courteous where nothing is too much trouble to sort. Thank you to all for making this stay very enjoyable and I highly recommend this hotel.”

It’s a dreadful experience for any parent when they first drop off their kid but the team at Lollipops Lynfield was so understanding and kind and helped with this transition in a amazingly kind and thoughtful way-we can’t speak more highly of them. “I recently took my sons to Gravity Mt Wellington after they had been in an accident. They were quite nervous and hesitant to get back on the trampolines. I was approached by Shahad, the manager, on her day off. Even though she didn’t have to, she kindly approached us and spent time with my boys. She spoke to them gently and reassured them that they were safe. Her patience and encouragement helped them slowly build up their confidence. By the end of the visit, they were smiling, laughing, and jumping again. It was such a relief to see them enjoying themselves after everything they had been through. Shahad truly went above and beyond in a way that not many people would. I’m so grateful for her kindness and the difference she made for my family that day. We will definitely be coming back!”

“I watched Mission: Impossible yesterday at Event Cinemas in Westfield Newmarket, and I’m so glad I did! The experience was fantastic—such a stark contrast to my visit to Hoyts Sylvia Park the day before, which was extremely disappointing. Event Cinemas truly impressed me. The entire place, from the lobby to the theatre itself, was spotless and well-maintained. I was especially impressed that they have staff assigned to clean the cinema after each movie—something that really stood out in terms of care and attention to detail. The staff were also friendly, welcoming, and incredibly patient in answering all of my questions. Their warm attitude really made a difference. I was so pleased with the service that I didn’t hesitate to book tickets on the spot to return this weekend and watch Jurassic Park! Special thanks to the lovely lady who helped me at the counter with my ticket and drink purchase, and to the kind young man who assisted me after the movie when I booked my next visit. Kudos to the entire team at Event Cinemas Westfield Newmarket—you’ve definitely won me over!”

“We had an amazing time celebrating my daughter’s 10th birthday with her friends at Zone Bowling Botany. We did the Two Pin kids party package, plus an additional game of bowling at the end. The staff, especially Nakita and Aazerah, were very friendly, helpful and professional. They made the day fun, easy to manage and basically stress-free. They made sure we were taken care of even before the party started, with the bonus arcade time while we were waiting for the rest to come - that was such a lovely surprise and very thoughtful! The kids had a blast, it was super fun and a memorable day for everyone! The food was delicious too! We highly recommend Zone Bowling Botany for your party needs or if you just want to have fun! “BestStart Mt Eden consistently delight me with the kind, nurturing and enriching environment Ludi and her team create for the children in their care across both Pipi and Paua. Both my children have attended both Pipi (under 2's) and Paua (Over 2's) and my little one is still at Paua. The team work really hard to create a safe and fun environment that inspires curiosity and offers plenty of stimulus for creative young minds. Can't speak more highly of Ludi and her team - they're straight up awesome.”

“Top notch customer service with very friendly team. We were served by Sophia who answered our queries about the menu and also was kind enough to take our photo. Its always a delight to come to Elephant Wrestler especially for big groups. They have plenty of space and kid-friendly atmosphere during lunch time. There’s a variety of food to choose from, always tasty, fresh and never dry. We enjoyed the pork belly and sirloin steak. Tiramisu is a must-have for dessert! We will definitely come back again.”

“This is a nice community center where I used to enroll my kids to learn Arabic every Sunday. The play area next to the center is amazing as well. There is a bus stop by the entrance of the center which makes it very easy for people to commute to the center.”
