“Wow what an amazing place! First time in the staff Greeted me with a welcoming G'day. Unfortunately I'm gluten free (celiac) However this wasn't a problem as they had a few different opinions. The Kebab came out before I could sit down, To say the service was outstanding is an understatement. My first bite left me wondering if I should get up & order a second (the portion to price was definitely correct) it was absolutely delicious. This little store almost hidden away beat my expectation right out of the ball park, I will promise you one thing I will definitely be returning for more... Kind Regards, One very happy customer”

“Love this place. The girls that run it so a wonderful job at keeping up with what can be many customers all wanting something to eat and drink. Tried many things on the menu, loved them all but I'd have to say my favourites were the hot chips, by far the best I've had while travelling NZ and the BLAT Sandwich. Also the Carrot Muffins are divine. The coffee was also a must have for my morning routine. Look forward to coming back in the future.”

“I've been visiting Gatau House Cafe recently and absolutely love it. Their coffee is consistently delicious, and the cakes are just amazing — fresh, flavorful, and a perfect match with a cup of coffee. As a student, I really appreciate the discount they offer, which makes it even more enjoyable. The service is superb, the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The atmosphere in the cafe is wonderful too - calm, cozy, and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to study, catch up with friends, or just unwind. “OMG, this place is absolutely fantastic! the staff are all so nice and positive. The food there is just scrumptious, and honestly you should defiantly go there. It's a great place for breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. it takes 10-20 min for the food to be ready so no rush and if you always want a small desert or a small savory you could always do to the get-it-yourself food stale. honestly, I really think you should go if you haven't been there before. (PS, their drinks are good too, especially their coffee). all I have to say for the atmosphere is it's so clean and aesthetic. :D”
