The hollandaise sauce tastes amazing and I was very impressed with the hash brown - the eggs and bacon were also done to perfection. And the presentation was very pretty. “Absolutely love this place — best caffeine fix in town and a manager who deserves a medal (or at least a very large wine). Sarah somehow smiles through our never-ending string of customized cappuccino orders like, “extra hot, but not too hot, almond milk but only if it’s the fancy kind, and can you make the foam look like a cat?” She delivers every time. Great coffee, cozy vibes, and a manager who deserves hazard pay. Five stars!”

“Best cafe in the area. Excellent, reliable coffee, very tasty cabinet food. Quick and friendly service, although pretty busy in the mornings. Cheapest coffee for miles if you buy a prepaid card! Works out to $4.20 for a large coffee. Also highly recommend the cajun chicken sandwich, chocolate caramel slice, and almond croissants.”

“Lovley wee Cafe. Plenty of outside seating, on a nice deck, with ample parking spaces right outside. Had Eggs Benedict with salmon. Eggs were perfectly poached with a plentiful amount of smoked salmon. The best latte I've had for ages! Definitely reccomed this Cafe, next time I'll be trying the whitetail fritters”

“Cafe Tran has a good selection of dishes on offer and at very reasonable prices. Ordered a Steak Burger and Chips ($21.90), which was prepared to perfection. Nothing was oily or overpowering, but just right flavours to compliment the dish. My better half ordered an Eggs Benedict ($19.90) which had very nice flavour and not too small in size.”

Very interesting twist to the standard beef burger, the bulgogi patty gave it a sweeter taste. Missus had the Creamy Mushroom, and says its good. When she says anything is good... “All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and take their jobs seriously. The place is clean, tidy and has a great atmosphere. I usually eat in the separate area upstairs which is a more quieter , away from the hustle and bustle. Also there is a great little spot for young children to play while you eat. Their french toast dish is presented beautifully and very satisfying as it comes with bacon as well. Our favourite is the potato hash, it's a very generously sized dish with varying textures and tasty complementary flavours. Their blueberry cheesecake is the perfect balance of real fruit, textures and richness and flavour. With amazing customer service to boot - This is a Onehunga Gem!”
