“We had a 50th birthday bash at Lilyworld cafe. Ordered platters and reserved some tables and watched the rugby. The service was on point and Ben was always on hand with any help and serving the food. All our guests enjoyed it so much and promised to return. The food was great! Some ordered meals and were very happy with the portions and prices. Its a great vibe there and also fun for the kids. Will definitely recommend and return. Thanks Leon, Ben and the team!”

“Great lunch spot right by Kmart. The interior is very nice and felt comfortable even if they are busy. The cabinet selection was great and very enticing, and it was absolutely worth it as we tried their caramel slice which had a great balance of sweetness and texture. The classic eggs Benedict was great too and was equally impressed with the portion size for the corn fritters. Update: tried the cabinet food and was not surprised that it was good too. Fairly complex flavour for cabinet food and I especially enjoyed the chilli scramble bap. Will definitely be keen to come back and try more of the menu.”

“Enjoyed a breakfast here on a Monday morning in an outdoor seating overlooking Oneroa township. Monday is a relatively quiet day on Waiheke without the weekend xrowds. The menu for breakfast and brunch was reasonably comprehensive and well priced. The restaurant was busy and frequented by locals which was a good sign”

“WOW, my 3rd visit to this establishment for celebrating birthdays and today a MOTHERS DAY high tea experience! This was outstanding, the wait staff really looked after our table despite the cheek I gave them all. The place settings and tea selection was first class, then came the delicious high tea style food plus hot savouries absolutely amazing and super delicious we managed to eat everything presented! After our feasting we all went for a stroll around the beautiful property, fantastic a wonderful place for wedding photo shoot! Oh and the venue of course. “I came from Australia and had visited couple of cafes and restaurants but Olaf’s experience was unique. The coffee and food is really tasty and amazing. The whole staff was so kind to me. I would say it is the best cafe in the town so far I have visited yet. The bread was fresh and delicious. The seating and outside view is also very good. Must visit with your family.”

“Been to this place for many years. Always awesome. Always satisfied. No surprise that there are always busy. On our last visit, unbeknown to us that the wait staff forgot about our food order. An observant manager spotted us looking around and checked on us. Quickly sorted the missing order. Come to apologize multiple times. We assured them that it’s all good. No problems. These things happened. The manager insisted not to charge us for the coffee. Wow. Not many managers and or restaurants would do this. 5 stars indeed.”

“A little piece of Belgium right in the heart of Mt Eden village. Food is good and there are some days with specials at a very nice price (need to purchase a drink to get the deal though). Service is good and sometimes speak French! Yay! Can be very busy at times!”

“Surprising night in Habibi Cafe, I live 45 minutes away from the city, it’s the only cafe/shisha open 24/7, came to buy some tobacco, the owner generously asked if I would like to join him smoking, with out hesitation I said YES, staff are very nice and welcoming, recommend 110% Will be coming more often.
