“We had brunch on Waitangi Day (Thursday) and absolutely loved it. For the first time, I had a smoothie that was actually better than the ones I make at home—so thank you for that! We went back on Saturday, but this time, the smoothie had noticeably more spinach, which caused it to oxidize quicker. I don’t have a picture, so you’ll have to take my word for it—it was much darker in color and less sweet. That said, the breakfast quality was just as great as the first time.”

“Enjoyed a breakfast here on a Monday morning in an outdoor seating overlooking Oneroa township. Monday is a relatively quiet day on Waiheke without the weekend xrowds. The menu for breakfast and brunch was reasonably comprehensive and well priced. The restaurant was busy and frequented by locals which was a good sign”

The hollandaise sauce tastes amazing and I was very impressed with the hash brown - the eggs and bacon were also done to perfection. And the presentation was very pretty. “This cafe was recommended to us by a family member for superb salmon bagels. Boy were we not disappointed. I prefer cooked salmon and nothing was too much bother to lightly grill the smoked salmon. It was amazing and very generous. All our table loved everything they had, fettuccine, blat, gf french toast and two salmon bagels. We loved to cafe, friendly, wonderful ambience. “Lovley wee Cafe. Plenty of outside seating, on a nice deck, with ample parking spaces right outside. Had Eggs Benedict with salmon. Eggs were perfectly poached with a plentiful amount of smoked salmon. The best latte I've had for ages! Definitely reccomed this Cafe, next time I'll be trying the whitetail fritters”

A locals spot for sure, the staff are very polite and friendly. The coffee is consistently perfect, now a workday pilgrimage for me. “Temptation is slightly more pricey than other bakerys. But their food is also slightly better than other bakerys. The potato top pie is to die for, and the customer service is always good. Will be coming back. Also, once I asked them to make a custom steak and cheese potato top, and they did. Pretty cool.”

“Just stopped by for coffee but was enticed by the lovely food in the cabinet. Got a brioche instead to go with my coffee which I found exceptional. It’s a small cozy place with very nice ambiance. I could not help noticing the steady stream of people stopping by for coffee or baked products to go. Staff were vibrant and friendly which is always a plus in a hospitality setting. Will definitely be a “go to” place for me from now on.”

The service was on point and Ben was always on hand with any help and serving the food. All our guests enjoyed it so much and promised to return. The food was great!
