   This was a highly anticipated cafe but I must have visited at the wrong time as some items on the menu was no longer available or possibly was seasonal. Service is attentive and getting a table wasn't difficult despite the cafe being packed. Food took a while to get here but given the busy day, this is expected. The food itself in terms of taste wasn't very flavourful although ingredients had a generous amount. The rice for the omurice had a heaping of chopped up octopus bits and went well with takoyaki sauce. The cold noodle was a summer menu item but as you can see from the photos, it was noodles, clear broth and a few pieces of ham (sadly I don't feel the price for the quality and amount was justified). Overall, a nice cozy and nature themed local cafe in the Ellerslie area. It's a good spot to stop by if you are in the area but I don't think I would make a dedicated trip there myself.

   Fancy some Japanese fusion, this is the place to be. We recommend the chicken katsu and mushroom udon. Packed with umami flavor and will leave you wanting more. Do not recommend the salmon soba. I suppose it’s meant to be refreshing but there are some missing flavors. Coffee was good but don’t order the decaf.

   Great food and service. I liked that the salmon Benny and full piece of salmon opposed to small shredded pieces. Mushroom udon was amazing too. Would recommend. Had the green smoothie, was so tasty.

   The aesthetics of this place is super nice, with large windows, it’s definitely a great place to take photos! Food is great, the tiramisu definitely a favourite. Open sando and pikuniku brekkie both were super good and each element of the dish complimented each other super well. The staff were super friendly and efficient. Honestly a good experience.

   I wanted to try everything on the menu, it all looks so good! opted for the karaage open sando which is phenomenal. will be back to try the rest of the menu! also got a slice of cake from the cabinet which was delicious. a great looking selection of items in there too :) I went while it was super busy but the service was excellent even during a rush! great cafe all round, a new favourite.

   Absolutely delicious I will definitely be back coffee was amazing and food was so tasty. The service was slightly slow but that's not their fault they were just so busy. Reminded me of Japan the Fusion weather in breakfast was bang on thank you so much

   My sisters and I came to Pikuniku for lunch over the weekend, and they are still as busy as ever! We ordered the creamy mushroom udon, curry udon with prawns, omurice with octopus, and matcha croffle. Everything was delicious! We waited about 20 minutes for the table but only like 10 minutes for the food! We also had an almond croissant and a mango cruffin for dessert!
