“I just purchased a recliner. I did it over the phone because of mobility issues. It arrived yesterday exactly as described. It is incredibly comfortable and I can tell it will last along time. The staff went above and beyond to get the chair to me and they were genuinely friendly and patient. It is worth paying a bit more for extremely high quality. I am very happy with my decision. I would recommend this product and this store in particular. Thank you to the staff for all your help. A++++++”

“We shopped around baby shops all over Wellington and the Hutt Valley looking at buying a big ticket item, a mountain buggy pram. Baby City was the best customer service by far and were so helpful answering all our questions. The staff are well trained with their product knowledge and it really made us feel better about spending hundreds on a buggy. I wish I knew the name of the assistant who helped us, she was so helpful and I felt compelled to write a review, which Is something I don’t normally do. Thank you baby city for all your help.”

“Top service in a mail order situation. My wife bought me an island shirt and pareu by mail order. The items were not suitable. One was too small and the other was not cotton - which I prefer. The items were fit for purpose under the Consumer Guarantees Act, my wife had simply not been careful enough when purchasing, so Langi's had no obligation to make an exchange. Perise and Etanah sent me photos of alternatives, which took some back and forth and lots of their time, when the consumer guarantee act did not require them to do. Now I have a beautiful cotton shirt and pareu which both fit me. Faafetai tele lava.”

“Sierra Café on Lambton Quay is a handy little spot tucked away upstairs from the main street, which makes it feel a bit calmer than some of the busier Wellington cafés. The coffee here is solid — my flat white was smooth and strong enough to start the day. I ordered a vegan sandwich, which was creamy and tasty. The cabinet food looked fresh, with muffins, scones, and frittatas that seemed popular with other customers. Service was quick and friendly; even when the café started filling up around lunchtime, my order came out fast. The space has a relaxed, casual vibe and works well for either a quick stop or a longer sit-down. Prices are pocket-friendly. I liked that they cater to different diets with vegetarian and gluten-free options. It’s not the flashiest café in Wellington, but it’s dependable and comfortable. I’d happily come back, especially for breakfast or a mid-morning coffee.”
