Love this store, but it closes at 5 pm, when stores around it open until 6 pm. It's hard to make it there for after work shopping early in the week.
If there was a 0 star rating, I would have given this store that. It's not even worth the 1 star. There has never been a time that I have been into this store where I have felt welcome. The staff never greet, and are always behind the counter having personal conversations, or looking miserable and uninterested. They also seem to have job vacancy signs posted in the window often, which is no wonder if that’s what their working environment feels like when you enter into it as a customer. Due to this consistent behaviour, I honestly don’t even know why I have bothered to go back in over time. I guess I've been hoping that maybe it'll be different than the previous times. After todays visit though, I’ve decided that was the last time…one of the staff members who is there most times I’ve been in (and I am guessing is the manager of the store) wasn’t wearing a face mask while talking to customers. Entitled much? We are still at the Orange Level, and everyone is required to wear face masks indoors including stores where you’re either shopping or working. And before anyone has anything to say about exemptions, I have seen the same person in this store in the past at Red and Orange Levels wearing a mask. I am disgusted with this behaviour, and the rest mentioned above, and cannot recommend this store to shoppers. There are so many other beautiful clothing stores to choose from in Wellington with a similar price point, so do yourself a favour and go to one of those instead.
I used to love decjuba and bought several pieces there however I’m not coming back anymore. I bought a black skirt in late October 2021 in the store however never got a chance to wear it ( it’s a long black skirt and quite formal). I wore it for the first time yesterday at a funeral and the fabric became ripped in five places. I took it back to the store the next day. The sales people didn’t believe it was my first time wearing it, “I can’t just take your words” she said, and insisted that I got the skirt caught on something sharp. I own many clothes but I’ve never had any clothes ripped so badly, even after wearing them for years. I find it unacceptable the skirt ripped after the first time I wore it. I really don’t think it’s fair that I paid full price for the skirt just to wear it once, and I deserve to be trusted for what I said as a loyal customer. I feel very disappointed at the service of Decjuba willis st store

Well-bellow-average.. post lockdown it's never been more important to focus on customer service. Decjuba failed miserably today. management, if your staff are rude and aren't interested in serving customers -- replace them with someone who is!! Simples. if you don't, you can't take for granted that you'll even be open next year.
They did well to find the right clothes to suit my figure. Great service, not pushy.
