It really proved how a good teacher is so worth it. Elyssa tailored her lesson plan to fit my needs and goals (namely improvisation around chords). She always comes prepared for each lesson and can show why each drill/skill she teaches is important and how it connects to my goals. “Tamashii Fit is a great place to train at and get stronger. Tamashii Fit has been influential in terms of my sport judo. I feel stronger and more dominant when I fight. When I started around a year and a half ago my main goal was to get stronger for my Judo. I feel that I have achieved this goal and I will continue getting stronger for my sport. Tamashii fit has been an important part of my journey and I would highly recommend going there as it is a great place to train and learn.”

“Both our tamariki have been at BestStart Tawa, so we've been with the centre for over 7 years now. We absolutely love the teachers and staff who all show so much love and care for the tamariki and the whole whanua! The team do an amazing job, work together as a cohesive unit and are very adaptable. There are great resources for the tamariki and the food that is provided is such good quality and delicious. Everyone is so tamariki focuse, and there is a real emphasis on building relationships with the whole whanua. We've loved our time here and are so fortunate for the relationships built. “Pushing myself to connect with a simultaneously creative, sexualized, and strong version of myself in a room full of strangers and an instructor was hard, and required a level of vulnerability I was pretty unfamiliar with. BUT in spite of the physical and mental challenge of pole dancing itself, I’ve never had so much fun in a relatively low-impact workout class. The music is always on point, the community of the Garden studio is tight-knit and supportive, and the thrill of perfecting a new skill with each class is incredibly refreshing.
