I also like the 'fight conditioning' classes because of the good variety of exercises and the group feeling. You will really push yourself! So I decided to take swimming lessons with Benoit and I am an adult swimmer. He is an excellent teacher when it comes to swimming, he listens to you and shows guidance according to your fitness, confidence and your ability. He has an efficient way of communicating and to teach swimming. I would highly recommend Ben from my experience. I can completely do all the breastroke, freestyle and backstyle now. And still taking lessons with him in order to improve and compete.”

“I cannot overstate how fantastic Elyssa Vulpes’ teaching has been. After 10 years of trying and failing to teach myself the piano, I finally decided to get lessons. It really proved how a good teacher is so worth it. Elyssa tailored her lesson plan to fit my needs and goals (namely improvisation around chords). She always comes prepared for each lesson and can show why each drill/skill she teaches is important and how it connects to my goals. She is aware of the difficulties of being a beginner at an instrument and is able to create an environment so that you stay encouraged and motivated. “Both our tamariki have been at BestStart Tawa, so we've been with the centre for over 7 years now. We absolutely love the teachers and staff who all show so much love and care for the tamariki and the whole whanua! The team do an amazing job, work together as a cohesive unit and are very adaptable. There are great resources for the tamariki and the food that is provided is such good quality and delicious. Everyone is so tamariki focuse, and there is a real emphasis on building relationships with the whole whanua. We've loved our time here and are so fortunate for the relationships built. “The magic of this place is the inclusivity and sense of community that it builds, largely brought on by studio owner Emma and the teachers. As someone who only started pole last year in their 30’s, I initially thought I was “too old” to get into it, but I’ve been happily proven wrong. With the studio’s guidance I was able to learn awesome tricks, moves and spins around the pole in a safe and fun environment. The studio also celebrates people’s uniqueness, and I’ve been given a safe space to bring out my own style to pole dancing, whether that’s being quirky, sassy, or even at times, chaotic. They really promote the idea of having fun in everything you do, which is what keeps me coming back. I’m excited to see what awesome things they can help me learn going forward.”

The environment (inside and outside) are beautiful and natural. A large villa space converted, with soft colours and a wood fire. Outside has mature trees with shade, lots of birds and a good space to explore. Fully recommend this kindy for any child!”
