   I went to this organisation to get a subsidised heat pump. They were quite rude and said I didn’t need one because I have a gas heater (what’s sustainable about that?) and that the cost of heating my house was irrelevant. They also put me on their mailing list without asking.

   Love this place. Great selection of phone and computer cables if you’re ever looking for one - well organised too. Also tools, screws, fabric, computers, and all sorts of useful second-hand (but good condition) stuff. A great place doing great work for us all. Please support them!

   Rob from Sustainability trust was super helpful and gave me lots of tips that were within my current (very small) budget, as well as listing things that I could look at doing in the future that would take more of a financial investment. Rob listened well, paid attention to detail and gave me helpful responses to my particular concerns, as well as offering non-judgemental information based on facts that I didn't have much understanding of. The advice was specific, detailed and completely relevant to my house and its particular quirks. I now feel like I have a plan to winter-proof my old (new to me) and very draughty house, and I feel a lot less anxious about the onset of winter. Highly recommend.

   Highly recommend their Homes Energy Assessments. Free and incredibly thorough. Had our home assessed and they looked at everything - from quick fixes (turning down a thermostat) to future thinking (solar panels and ducted heat pumps). Jackson gave us practical solutions that were sensitive to our family's needs. Thanks for the 'to do' list!

   I had a free Home Energy Assessment by Sustainability Trust. Jackson and Chris, the assessors, shared a huge wealth of great information, they are incredibly knowledgeable. I really appreciated being talked through issues and solutions so I understood how and why to make improvements, and then getting follow-up written info and a personalised action plan. I'm stoked to have a range of affordable ways I can make my house warmer, dryer and more energy-efficient. This is such a brilliant service, and amazing that it is available for free. I would love to see Wellington City Council continue and expand funding for this service so it can benefit more tenants and owner-occupiers - and especially increase capacity during the winter months!
