Garden Pole isβ¦ fine? Was kind of on the fence about learning pole, but was keen to try out something social and heard pole is a fun thing to do. The moves seemed really complex for a beginner class. But what was most jarring was just that it was really impersonal. I may as well have been doing aerobics at a gym? There wasnβt really any getting to know each other. The instructor left before anyone else. I wouldnβt even know how to reach out to anyone at garden pole to ask if my experience is normal. I bought three beginner classes and still have two classes to use. Im not really going to bother though. Thereβs more interesting things I can do with my evening. But if you want to practice and donβt have a pole of your own, this would likely do the job.

Gorgeous pole studio with a great range of classes including pole tricks, dancing, floor and stretching. As an adult, I learned I could do the splits! Lovely instructors who are all encouraging and experienced. The instructors guided me along the journey to performing and they offer different performing opportunities for both beginners and experienced dancers. Highly recommend The Garden Pole!

Pushing myself to connect with a simultaneously creative, sexualized, and strong version of myself in a room full of strangers and an instructor wasΒ hard, and required a level of vulnerability I was pretty unfamiliar with. BUT in spite of the physical and mental challenge of pole dancing itself, Iβve never had so much fun in a relatively low-impact workout class. The music is always on point, the community of the Garden studio is tight-knit and supportive, and the thrill of perfecting a new skill with each class is incredibly refreshing. The BEST instructors who will each adapt to your needs and learning style.

Such a welcoming place. I have called several pole studios my home over the years and I have only really felt the super communal friends for life feels the most at The Garden. After my first class here, I signed up. If you're new to pole, this is a great place to learn. The instructors are knowledgeable, kind and humble. And fun! I love TG! And you get dancing instructors hyping you up

This pole studio is the best damn place I have ever been. Was super nervous signing up because I had literally no strength or fitness at all and thought I was going to be a total embarrassment but the instructors are so sweet and patient with everyone there, newbie or otherwise and the positivity leave you feeling so good about yourself at the end of every session. Highly recommend, Miki and Evie have created such an amazing place, couldn't have asked for a better pole studio

This studio is so amazing! The teachers I have experienced so far having always been super encouraging and really helped gain my confidence with doing pole. I am so keen to keep doing lessons at this place. Its so beautiful on the inside, well decorated and the classes are small enough that it feels really nice. With being on the bigger side, it feels so nice to not have any judgement either and for them to create and nurture such a lovely environment is so wonderful.

Love this place! It's so refreshing to walk into an environment that celebrates every part of you, regardless of your age, size, background, gender, ethnicity, orientation, etc. I've battled some of those societal rules and constructs that come with my gender and ethnicity, and I've experienced first hand the backlash that can come with embracing those "forbidden" elements of feminine energy. I love that this studio embodies empowerment, through the way we move, what we wear and how we grow! Also love how The Garden works against diminishing the true origins of pole dance, crediting strippers rather than diminishing their work with an exclusively-fitness label. Truly authentic - cannot recommend enough!
