“Just a note to say thanks to you Courtney and the Village Goldsmith team. Heather and I are delighted with our rings. You listened carefully to us, designed our rings exquisitely in consultation with us and made best use of my mother's family stones and platinum. It's lovely for me to be able to see the stones sparkling on a daily basis, rather than being smothered, sitting in their brooch in a drawer. The whole experience was really outstanding, particularly your warm friendly service throughout and great communication. Seeing the 3D samples and knowing the excellent standards your jewellers work to gave us confidence. All that, plus completion was on time and within budget. Congratulations.”

All items i have purchased have been well packed and very good quality. The times i have had a question about availability, i have been answered the same day. AJS has become my go- to shop for all things jewellery, including tools.”

“David remade some family rings into my engagement ring and wedding band as well as my husbands wedding band. He listened to our ideas and gave expert recommendations so we really trusted him throughout the process to create the vision we had in mind. They all turned out exquisitely and will be timeless pieces that remain in our family for a long time to come. It is lovely to have a small local business here in the Hutt and really valued the personal touch we have had throughout the whole process.”

“I was really pleased by the whole experience of dealing with The Sewing Depot. On the website, there was no option for shipping to Australia, so I sent a message and from there, the whole process was quick and painless. There was fast turnaround of email responses (as opposed to the black box so often experienced), options for shipping, and advice that the goods had been shipped. They arrived within the time advised and the whole cost was less than other online sellers. I would definitely shop with The Sewing Depot again and I recommend it to other potential customers.”

“Very impressed with product knowledge and customer service. I am super happy with a glass engraving on a trophy. The showroom has every kind of trophy and award you could ever wish for.. but I wish I had more reason to shop there. It's rare these days for me to feel it was a pleasure doing business somewhere but it was here. Very efficient and good communication too.”

“MM is such a wonderful shop with lovely helpful staff. Their selection of tools and notions is very thoughtfully curated and I often find really useful tools that aren’t stocked in other places. It’s a store that’s run by genuine craftspeople who know what people need to do crafts rather than just standard ranges of marginally useful tat that you find in some other shops. I find it’s always worth a visit when I’m in Wellington.”

“You can find the smallest of knick knacks, art & craft, simple hardware that you need there. Extremely fun place to be. It is organised enough as a place without being too 'frilly'. Baskets/trolleys for customers available as it is a big warehouse place.”

“Workspace Studios is a fantastic space! If you're wanting to learn to make jewelry through a class or individual bench hire, I couldn't recommend enough! Everyone there is so nice and helpful and are more than happy to support and enable your ideas! The Lost Wax Workshop was so much fun with great support! I have just recently used their individual bench hires to make my wedding rings, the community there is great and again the staff who are all jewelry makers themselves were insanely helpful with materials, designs, next steps, picking stones, and getting them set.”

“My GF surprised me with a very special birthday gift. She had secretly commissioned Nick at the Rolling Mill to hand craft a bespoke one of a kind ring. Nick had researched the geography of the Corromandel Ranges, and managed to create a carved 18-karat gold ring the captures 5 of the ridges and streams in the Corromandel Ranges, plus the profile of the shoreline and the profile of the ranges which is the view out our lounge window. The ridges represent us and our 3 daughters. Inside the ring Nick etched the Kohukohunui Maunga in the Hunua Ranges, with a diamond star for my kuri Ice. This ring is amazing, absolutely incredible!”
