OMG... I ADORE my slow stitching kit which has just arrived at work! What a box of treasure - they are all such pretty fabrics that I may not want to cut them up - but just look at them and admire them! Thank you SEW much ! I absolutely adore it and can't wait to get home tonight and look at everything again, stroke it, admire it, tidy it up back in the box and repeat all over again! Oh and one day, start cutting in to it! Thank you sooo much... its AWESOME!
This shop has to be one of my favourites. Always has new and exciting stock. Fantastic for embroidery supplies and vintage for slow stitching, plus of course gorgeous fabrics. Lyndy is so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend. Linda McCutcheon.

I visited this shop having found it online. I was visiting Wellington from the UK. When I got there I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.! Selection of fabrics just wonderful and patient and helpful staff. The only difficulty was making choices as my suitcase had limited space!

This is a wonderful shop full of delicious fabrics and ideas. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and never made me feel rushed in the least even though I dithered over so many beautiful choices! Price wise I felt they were the same as other specialist fabric shops holding quilting materials but I thought their range better and more modern than other shops. Next time I'm in Wellington, this is my go to place.
Stitch birds have the best range of high quality and beautiful fabrics. There is a big range of fabric types and designs. The fabrics are of a high quality and wash and wear well. They are on the slightly more Pricy side but you definitely get the quality you pay for. They also treat their products with respect and are very knowledgeable if you need any guidance.
