“What a wonderful place to stay in Wellington. We stayed here for two nights and were extremely satisfied. The welcome was warm, and the owners were very friendly. The room had a private bathroom down the hall and a personal fridge in another room. All facilities were adequately provided. The owner joins you for breakfast in the morning, which always led to enjoyable conversations. The B&B also has a fantastic view of the bay; you're right by the water. We parked our car on the street near the B&B for two nights, which was safe and, of course, cost nothing. To get to Wellington Center, you'll need an Uber or taxi.”

“A lovely place with great service - they kept filling water and attending to every table with friendly service. I was there after lunchtime but it was still pretty busy. I had the avo & halloumi on toast, and the sourdough was to die for!!! Honestly, it was one of the best breads I have ever had, no joke. I asked if they sold it separately - sadly, no. I would have bought some. :) But I inhaled the meal and it was great. Just the right size too. Loved it! Would be back. And would find some meal that has that awesome bread, yum!!”

“Fabulous tasty food and plenty of it. 5 people and we shared all the food and it was great. Served on lovely plates and looked and tasted amazing. The staff did a great job of explaining the menu to us and what each dish came with and entailed. We had to attend an event and the food came in great time. The cocktails were also great and the wine list was good. only issue was they didn't sell bubbles by the glass so we just had to buy a bottle and that was superb. We didn't have room for any dessert which was a shame as they sounded amazing. we will be back”

“Very friendly and wonderful staff. We took our cat in after her surgery to stay the night to check her breathing. Our cat is sassy and very feisty but the staff were patient with her and understanding of her needs. They took care of her, monitored and gave her medications. Very grateful and thankful for the staff that looked after our cat Baby.”

“Came in today to put my cat down who I’ve had my whole life. She was 18 years old and it was time to make the decision. I am super happy with the experience, the staff were amazing and made it a great positive experience given my first time doing this. They had even given me copies of her paw prints and some of her fur to take. 10/10 experience.”

“I have been to quite a few different vets and I can say hands down that they have been the best to deal with. We have to purchase our cat's food from a vet and this clinic has been the only one who can keep on top of their stock and not make it a huge deal for us to need to purchase it from them! They are also helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate when our pet needs them. They also have amazing and accessible opening hours. It's so nice to be able to deal with a company who understand many people work 9-5 and simply can't make it during work hours. I highly recommend them!”

“Our stay at Sofitel Wellington was absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They were full of local knowledge and pointed us toward some fantastic nearby attractions, which really enhanced our visit. The location was perfect — close to plenty of activities and great places to explore, all within easy walking distance. We also thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel; the food was outstanding and truly one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, we had such a memorable experience at Sofitel Wellington. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality and exceptional service — we can’t wait to return!”

“Full house for a Tue dinner service (before a sellout show at MFC). Be sure to book! Burrata, flatbread, snapper crudo, gnocchi, wagyu flank, half lamb shoulder (classic they'll hopefully never stop serving), sides of cauli & fries - between 4. All dishes were perfectly on point flavour-wise and generous enough to share. Everyone left satisfied and still recalling the yum hours later. Service was attentive and friendly but unprentious. Unique and broad selection of wines (cocktails a bit slow, but it was busy). Overall a very memorable meal and will for sure continue to recommend to others for special occassions, and return.”

“We were in search of some of Wellington’s best cheese scones! I think this is definitely up there. Soft cheesy goodness heated up in a sandwich press to ensure it doesn’t go soggy/rubbery. You can get a larger one, or smaller ones for slightly less. Absolutely delicious cheese scones, wish I could eat it all over again! Pravda has some serious competition! El porteno also make a delicious hot choco which is a great price!”

“Visiting the city and found an excellent spot for exceptional coffee. On a sunny day, the best place to enjoy it is the outdoor terrace upstairs - quieter, more spacious, and refreshingly open, perfect for a leisurely breakfast and long conversations. The service is warm, welcoming, almost joyous, with staff who appear genuinely enthusiastic, accommodating, and efficient. Though the space is compact, the atmosphere is full of heart. Some dishes leaned a bit classic and could use more colour or acidity, and the dessert felt slightly heavy, but overall a very well-executed, enjoyable dinner.”

“Our company sends people to Wellington most months. We find Terrace Villas the most practical place to stay. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. We are easily able to conduct our business from the apartments and the management is ready to help with anything we need - we often hold meetings with our clients and they find the surroundings pleasant and relaxed.
