Terrific coffee shop close to many hotels, AirBnB's & offices on The Terrace. Ryan, Yurika & colleagues are unfailingly polite, friendly & efficient, & the flat whites & breakfast pastries are superb. Downstairs for people watching, upstairs for calm. Hope to be back on future visits to WLG!
Frank's coffee is easily one of the best cafes and businesses in New Zealand. The quality of the espresso, the care and attention that has gone into every facet of the cafe, menu, and service is without rival. The roasted beans are also a favourite. Many legendary and award-winning baristas have learned or worked with Frank and the team. Go visit, experience coffee and service at its absolute zenith.

Visiting the city and found an excellent spot for exceptional coffee. On a sunny day, the best place to enjoy it is the outdoor terrace upstairs - quieter, more spacious, and refreshingly open, perfect for a leisurely breakfast and long conversations. The service is warm, welcoming, almost joyous, with staff who appear genuinely enthusiastic, accommodating, and efficient. Though the space is compact, the atmosphere is full of heart. Had a very lovely experience here. Thanks Frankβs and Wellington!
We visited FRANK yesterday and it soon became my favorite cafe in NZ! The flat white was really nice, with coffee and milk perfectly balanced. We bought two different coffee beans back home. Canβt wait to try them!
Nice small place on the terrace. Good coffee, nice food, nice atmosphere. The aesthetic is modern business casual with wood and greys, this gives the place a nice calming atmosphere with quiet music in the background. Good to bring a business partner if you are already close.
This place...what can I say. It's my number one stop for coffee. The staff are so friendly and polite. I've been coming here for a year now, so I can guarentee three things once you decide to do the same 1) Lovely people to talk to, 2) Excellent atmosphere. 3) Fantastic coffee. To the owner of The Terrace, you should be proud. The people managing this place are honestly nothing short of amazing. Have an awesome day! I know I will because you have brightened mine. :)
Excellent hands-on, friendly but fast service. Lovely eggs and avo, cooked well. Good strong coffee First time here while on a work trip. I'll definitely be back.
