Absolutely love this place! I can't recommend it highly enough. Everyone here — from the receptionists to the nurses to the vets — is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The entire team goes above and beyond every time, consistently exceeding my expectations. And my dog Macey loves this place even more than I do — she’d move in if she could!!
Absolutely AMAZING vets! The team are so kind and caring. I have a cat that is absolutely terrified of going to the vets and any sort of travel and they are so gentle with her. The first time we had to take her, one of the vets actually spent a solid 10 minutes just talking to her and trying to be friends with her so that she was more comfortable. He was even able to give her some good chin scratches which is a miracle (she runs away from almost every new person she meets). Delilah (my cat) has recently had to have a dental and some chest X-rays and the team have been so wonderful with Delilah and understanding towards my anxiety! They also looked after my cat Bilbo when we first rescued him and he needed to be neutered and have teeth removed. He was absolutely feral but they still treated him with so much love! It’s been so refreshing to have a team of vets and nurses like the team at Valley Cottage Vets! I would highly recommend taking your pets here if you live close by! I have been bringing generations * of my pets to this vet over the years (*in dog/cat years!). They have been absolutely great with all my animals. I really appreciate the professional, compassionate, and caring service from the vet and staff when dealing with me & my fur babies. This is Onions Angry Pants, she is only alive because of Valley Cottage Vets. They saved her life after a head injury as a kitten. She was in a coma and they didn't think she would make it but thanks to their love and care, she did. She tries to kill every vet and vet nurse who meets her because she has neurological issues that make her angry but the vets and vet nurses still love to see her. About a month after I adopted her, her health went downhill again and she stopped drinking, leading to dehydration but once again Valley Cottage Vets spent about a week saving her life. Onions had to spend a night at After Hours during this time and while I was waiting at After Hours to be seen, Alix and Juli came to the clinic to check in with her. Absolutely above and beyond. I am so grateful to this dedicated team of humans. I could not be more grateful to them for saving this little grump. I love her so much, even though she's the angriest cat I've ever met, she's so very special. Thank you Alix and team. Never forget how amazing you are.
We took our dog in for a vaccination. Alex was wonderful. He was caring and patient and went out of his way to make our dog comfortable. Our dog is usually nervous around vets but very quickly became comfortable with Alex. The rest of the team were great too. Highly recommend this vet.
Very impressed. First visit here Vet, think his name Alec ? Absolutely a thorough job with our cat who'd been beaten up by another cat. Will definitely keep going here
