“We went to the bring your baby “Lighthouse littles” session yesterday. The staff were absolutely lovely. As a new mum it was so nice to have such friendly and accommodating staff. They explained how it would work and offered their help if we needed anything. Will definitely go back :)”

“Everything looks good on this simple 2-page all-day menu! We went for the wellness bowl and the mushrooms on flat bread. Both were delicious. Food was served quickly. This is a great place for breakfast, lunch or brunch!”

The service was quick and great and they were able to accomodate my dietary needs without any issues and they added more food to compensate for the substitutes I had to make. “Just want to write a review to shout out just how amazing the food and service was at Martha's Pantry! We were a party of 9, doing a surprise bridal shower high tea for a friend. Martha's Pantry happily and thoughtfully accommodated our little particular requests. One of our party was Diary-Free and Gluten-Free, but for particular flours. The chef reviewed the list of what flours she can and cannot have, and very kindly was able to adapt the high tea for her. The guest had a great time and was so stoked that she was able to enjoy a high tea experience as that doesn't happen very often. So thank you Martha's Pantry team for making it an awesome afternoon for us!”

“Designed mainly as a takeaway or eat and go place. There are some tables to but not many as the place is quite small. Coffees are reasonably priced below average at $3.50 a cup (standard price is usually around the $5 mark) which attracts some regulars that work nearby. Scones and pastry looks delicious but sell out fast- didn’t have a chance to try by the time I reached the counter lol. Coffee is good quality. Service is brisk and friendly. Would definitely come back and I highly recommend checking it out :)”

Go sit in the back near the stage/window, such a lovely warm vibe created by the wallpaper, admire the bar wall. Big choice of Whiskey and Bourbons, I counted 97 different ones including some nice Japanese whiskeys. If you like Gin try the Monkey47. Also interesting original cocktails”

“I just wanted to share some outstanding customer service I received from Dan and his team at Bicycle Junction even when I wasn't an actual customer. It made my week and that was last week and I'm still smiling. When my bike's disc brakes locked up so I practically had to carry my bike, I took it to Bicycle Junction for a rescue. Dan quickly assessed that my bike was in a bad way but managed to fix the brakes, give the gears a tweak and even tighten my bicycle carrier which was missing a screw, as well as blow up my tires. This all came free of charge with some sage advice to get some serious work done on my poor bike. I really appreciated the friendly no fuss service. I was able to cycle away and ponder whether I buy a new bike or get my bike overhauled. I'm still mulling it over, but thank you guys for saving me the other day. Highly recommend.”

“All gluten free menu! I can’t believe I’ve only just found out about this cute little café! Their menu is entirely gluten free, which is so nice! I grabbed a muffin and it was yummy. Will def go back.”

“Writing a review purely just to say thank you for the exceptional service! My partner and I got the bacon and cheese scone, the honey focaccia and the caramel and banana (?) scroll today. The scone is always amazing, the focaccia was insanelllyyyyy good (please get it) but the scroll was a bit dry and was missing all four elements of what it supposedly advertised to have. My partner and I left the scroll as we were quite full and it wasn’t what we were expecting anyway. When staff came to collect the plate full of scroll scraps she asked me if everything was ok with it and offered to bring us something different to make up for it. I declined and she came over to give us free coffee vouchers shortly after. The manager came over and apologised too and thanked us for the feedback. Im super thankful to the team for being so kind and acknowledging our experience in so many different ways. Its quite easy to let things slide when you’re a bit shy, especially if you don’t want to come off as rude, so that persistence and self-awareness from the cafe is really impressive and defs noticed. Ive always loved Sixes and Sevens and my opinion of them wasn’t going to change based on this one scroll, but I absolutely think the world of them now!”

“On a Saturday morning around 9:00, the place was busy with the exercise crowd. Joggers and bicyclers were enjoying a coffee and socializing either before or after their workout. I was able to order a flat white and then find a table. A little wobbly but I was able to set up my laptop, connect to their wifi and spend a half hour or so plotting the next steps in my invasion of the North Island. After a bit, the place calmed down as most folks went back out to complete their walk/run. It returned to a peaceful and still slightly up-vibe coffee shop. Nice.”
