   This place fulfilled my raging cravings for sushi and also do an impressive variety of hot dishes such as chicken katsu curry. The venue is super cute, tucked into Mahara Place and it warmed my heart to see they also sell mochi and bubble tea. Next time I will visit earlier in the day to capture all the varieties of sushi they have on offer, as I was quite late and a lot of things were understandably sold out. This place deserves 5 stars and regular business.

   We were amazed by this secret gem when we went for lunch yesterday. The menu is varied and well priced and we had a selection of delicious food, the noodles were especially unique and delicious. They have bubble tea and specialty soda from Japan, the melon sodas were refreshing and come in cute glass bottles. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and sweet. They go the extra mile with accessibility, they have vegan options, easy wheelchair and pram access, two areas of outdoor seating, toys and colouring and a sandpit, gender neutral bathrooms and a changing table. We were thoroughly impressed and we will definitely be visiting whenever we are on the kapiti coast.

   I love the sushi here! As I work nearby, if I had enough time I would buy this every day for lunch. A really nice range of sushi. Prawn, shrimp, a variety of chicken. They even have eel sushi sometimes! So often in other sushi places it is average and you can tell it is been sitting out all day. But I am never disappointed with the quality and selection here. I think the price is great too! If you like sushi or are even curious about it or had bad experience elsewhere before, then this is the place to try and you will be converted!
