Excellent service. Purchased a new, gorgeous e-bike at Bicycle Junction using the WorkRide program. Great pricing, and even mounted my accessories at no cost. Was less than one week between clicking "GO" on WorkRide and picking up the bike. Two thumbs up!

I've been a customer for about 10 years, Dan and his team are awesome. Great bikes, excellent fast service, they really look after their customers - recently something went wrong on my bike after a service and they sorted it really quickly. I also love how much they do for the cycling community in Wellington: pop up events with free donuts, coffee and bike checks, hosting events in their shop and organising crazy bike parades around town. These guys really earn their loyal customers.

I just wanted to share some outstanding customer service I received from Dan and his team at Bicycle Junction even when I wasn't an actual customer. It made my week and that was last week and I'm still smiling. When my bike's disc brakes locked up so I practically had to carry my bike, I took it to Bicycle Junction for a rescue. Dan quickly assessed that my bike was in a bad way but managed to fix the brakes, give the gears a tweak and even tighten my bicycle carrier which was missing a screw, as well as blow up my tires. This all came free of charge with some sage advice to get some serious work done on my poor bike. I really appreciated the friendly no fuss service. I was able to cycle away and ponder whether I buy a new bike or get my bike overhauled. I'm still mulling it over, but thank you guys for saving me the other day. Highly recommend.

The bikes they have are great and it's a nice shop. But I've had mixed service from the workshop. On one hand they are very thorough and set the bike computer to frequent service intervals by default. But on the other hand I've once had them do a service when we specifically asked them not to. I've also had two issues on a bike that's less than eighteen months old, one was a clear warranty issue and the other one was in a bit of a grey area - technically wear and tear but the brakes were also cheap alternatives put on by the manufacturer during COVID shortages, and they failed in a dangerous way which cold have lead to a serious crash for myself and my daughter if I hadn't managed to stop the bike with my feet. I had to pay for both fixes, although they did offer a small discount for the brakes.

Great place to buy electric bikes. The price starts from 3500$ and goes up to 10000$. I tried the ones around 4000-5000$ and it was really good. Especially for the roads and hills in New Zealand you would need a bike with throttle to cover mountains.

These guys are fricken awesome. Helped sort me out with a new tube the other day ("just come back in the morning and it'll be ready"), and then helped with the warranty on my busted lock. Gave me a new one on the spot -- "we'll handle it." Made my day.

After having many lovely coffees over the years here we finally listened to many of our friends and took the plunge on an e-cargo bike. Dan, Annie, Ilya and everyone else who helped us were very accommodating, letting us take extended (several day) tests that helped us find the right ride for our family (and the hills!). I’m not sure any other bike shop in Welly does this. If you are sick of shuttling the offspring around in a car (or just want some tasty snacks) this is the place for you!

As an avid weekend road warrior, when my FIFO work life permits, I love browsing bike shops, and drinking coffee, so I was very excited to see these favourites side by side, writhing the same walls. I get the feeling that the baristas here take their craft very seriously, taking pride in their product and presentation. The ambience is casual, and if you like cycling, then this bike shop will have you quite fascinated, as it specialises in electric bikes, including cargo bikes, kiddy haulers, touring bikes, plus commuters and mountain bikes. They also have a range of Brompton collapsible bikes, which have somewhat of a cult following in the UK, and it looks like they might be available to hire here? The coffees were very nice, and my daughter’s homemade toasted muesli with banana, Greek yoghurt and rhubarb looked divine. There’s also some tasty looking Shelly Bay sandwiches on offer, plus a few other cookies, bliss balls etc. If cookbooks are also your thing, then there are a few on the bookcase to browse through too. Free WIFI available.
